@orchard I don’t know why you laughing the Unreal engine developers actually stated that it was developed and optimised in tandem with the PS5 when they released their tech demo.
I’m always a bit sceptical when reviews are held back to release day. Normally if you have faith in the product you give the game to reviewers early as good reviews create a buzz which tends to get more people to preorder in that last week or so before release. Case in point Cyberpunk and we know why that review embargo was enforced till launch…
Sony showing their commitment in taking this industry forward. Not buying it out.
I will not be preordering this. Lesson learnt.
I like to think of the Remake as an alternate timeline.
Releasing no games is nothing to brag about…
People catching on that the S is basically an obsolete model. At that price I was expecting it to be the top selling console on Black Friday.
Don’t underestimate the sway of the European Commission. Europe is a massive territory. If it doesn’t go through there we may be seeing the start of a block.
With a payout like that should the sale go through I would gladly be fired or resign while flipping everyone off. There’s no denying Microsoft used this situation to leverage the proposed acquisition. No wonder everyone was releasing statements left right and centre, this looks bad for Microsoft’s corporate image.
Phil says “It wasn’t me”
When I heard the news I was disappointed, this game was one of the reasons that tipped my decision to get a ps5 earlier than planned. I’m glad it was given to Saber but they likely starting from scratch.
Yikes….denial.
Dude THAT is Odin based on mythology
Ok so Phil we can understand; he always releases stupid statements and always has. My interest was piqued when Satya felt it necessary to throw his hat in the ring. Now the COO of Activision. It looks like there's some major pushback from the regulatory bodies and the European Commission's outcome appears to be the deciding factor which way the wind is going to blow. As Terry Pratchett wrote: "May you live in interesting times"
How are you even getting disagrees? What you stating is a FACT.
Bobby going to take it out on some poor intern
But according to people on this site this deal was a sure thing? Keep moving goalposts. Does baby need biddy?
Oooh boy. You must be one of those guys praying Starfield is going to be the promised saviour. As for the Activision buyout I think you need to refer to the current news. And even if that does go through, I don’t think it’s going to magically enhance MS capability to manage studios. But hey day one GamePass….
