No CGI trailer?
A fool and his money….
If Guerrilla could surprise us with Horizon which was out of their safe zone, imagine what Santa Monica can deliver us…
By that reasoning PS5 also has those third party games plus AAA exclusives.
Game releases?
Don’t forget about Wolverine
Xbox adopters you guys do realise that you have been shafted since about mid 2010? That’s 12 years you guys had to swallow this crap and yet you will defend this inexcusable, indefensible and incompetent division based on your inherent warped reasoning that their parent company will keep them afloat (well that part is true for now). But hey…..wait for E3. The rest of us aren’t waiting we playing newly released video games, you know, the core function of a console
Of course it is. It worth buying a PlayStation for too.
The price of the console, yes. The fact that digital games do not drop in price as fast as physical media is why I always recommend my friends and family to buy the physical drive PS5. That, and we can trade games amongst ourselves. Publishers would love an all digital future....
What’s with all of his statements? Perhaps the acquisition is not going as expected as Microsoft and Bobby claims it is. Europe is a massive market for the industry, shareholders are probably getting restless.
They essentially took a wait and see approach with Stadia. That bombed out so they didn’t pursue this avenue.
Oh hell no. Let this remain as one of those unused patents that collects cobwebs.
PS5 Approach: traditional model of releasing AAA exclusives on a consistent basis whilst support development timelines of internal studios by sharing expertise from different development houses. This while locking down certain third party exclusives and co funding some third party games.
XBOX: Gamepass.
It’s actually a bummer because Forbidden West is such a fantastic game. Oh well such is the lot of PlayStation gamers.
We all know who’s taking this one home. Hint… he’s bald and has a violent disposition.
That’s because it’s the closest closest competitor PlaysStation has. Nintendo has been doing their own thing since the Wii whereas XBOX has been trumpeting their offerings (actually lack thereof) ever since the 360 days. It’s sad, they started so strong with the OG and half of the 360s lifecycle but then tried to chase the mass market with the kinect fad. Fact is we need competition as that pushes either side to outdo themselves. Well that’s the idea, Microsoft has not been pushing themselves...
To those who said physical sales are not relevant.
RIP Kevin. A significant part of my childhood has died with you. Thank you for making my Saturday mornings so special.
This is actually a big issue for us in European areas. Thanks to the war the price of heating and electricity has shot up substantially. People are actually buying appliances like TVs and fridges based in their electricity unit consumption. Consoles are no different with the majority of us no longer leaving them on standby mode.
May?
