Nice. I don't know why, but it just never occurred to me that you could sign up for 'foreign' accounts. Japan gets some of the best arcade games, and gets them first, but 90% of them are immensely easy to figure out and don't use any text (not the shooters and stuff, anyway) so it doesn't matter if they're in Japanese or not.
Hot damn! This could be really useful - I only just read about Darius Burst, and that it's only coming out in Japan, so signing up for a Japanese account might be perfect. Nice one Pocket Gamer!
Gotta love the zombie games, but this is a first class tower defence, as well. Can't wait for the update.
Is this a retro remake? The name sounds very familiar, but I don't recognise the screenshot. Good review anyway - going to look into a bit more closely. Quite fancying this one after reading the review.
It's true that the DS version has means this doesn't seem as exciting, but it's still well worth a play for PSP owners. Agree with the score 100%.
Agreed. The widescreen view makes a big difference, and the analogue stick doesn't hurt either.
This is a total classic. Seems to have been kinda forgotten by the gaming world, so it's good to see it back and on a hot platform. Works nicely, too. Pang-tastic!
Yeah. The Force is, like, strong with this one, eh?
Holy hell! about time we had a proper Star Wars game on the iPhone. This looks a lot like the classic Atari coin-op (still one of the best Star Wars games ever made). Can't wait!
Yeah, those were pretty sweet, but you can't beat the original.
Millions of 'em, dude. Flight Control, Real Racing, Zen Bound and about 10,000 others :-)
And soon, World of Goo, of course.
Holy hell! This is the game the Wii was made for! It'll work beautifully on the iPhone, too.
Sweet game. I love that you can just play it right there in the browser - miles better than having to install stuff (and I can play it at work, too!). Can't wait for the iPhone version.
Yep - doesn't seem any point for this conversion at all. Better off with the new Champion Edition.
Really hope this one makes it to release.
Looks like the old Monkey hasn't lost any of its charm! Good to hear.
This one came out of nowhere. Still, as long as it's here, that's all that matters to us iPhoners. Well, assuming it doesn't play like a lame monkey, of course, but this machine was made for point and click.
The iPhone needs some bigger, more in depth games, not to mention MMOs. And it's a fantastic idea, allowing you to play the same game, with the same characters wither on the iPhone or directly within a web browser. Really looking forward to this one.
The PSPgo doesn't interest me whatsoever, but I must also admit to taking an interest in the older PSP model. I've never owned one, but the way things are going I'm tempted to keep a close eye on eBay.
Nice idea for an article. Love the iPhone myself, and it's likely to own handheld gaming from now on, but this is a really useful article for anyone who's looking for a feature rich handset for something other than games.
