not really, this was heavilly advertised as a playstation game. a 50k boost in console sales that week isnt too bad
maybe wait for sunset overdrive or halo mcc to see if they have a game that can boost high numbers.

2+ million sold for destiny on ps4 and that probably boosted an extra 300k of consoles.
in comparison, destiny only boosted xbone sales around 50k.
titanfall only helped boost xbone sales by an extra 80k that week.

rolling mechanic seems to have gone. im not even sure if there is a jumping mechanic in this game.
2. guns part, it really depends if you can change characters. gun part seemed very reminscent of dirge of cerberus. i kinda liked that game so its a sort of compliment(?)

the 360 supposedly ran better than the ps3 version. that is why it was compared.
the ps4 version is probably going to look better(?, even minimal) than the xbone version. so comparison between the better last gen and the better this gen is a good comparison to see improvements.
a ps4 vs xbone would just be showing exact same footage which isnt the point of this. and obviously ps3 vs xbone would probably be almost the same footage as what we just saw.

to be honest, i want the shenmue vs yakuza debate to finish. totally different games.
shenmue was a adventure/rpg with a fighting system based on virtua firghter.
yakuza was a 3d brawler with rpg elements.
shenmue pushed dc to the max, yakuza didnt realy push it but still looked great.
storywise one felt like an epic adventure that sadly got cut, whilst yakuza was very movie like.

its funny how games kind of lose the spotlight once they are out. ps+ is ideal for me since i am able to play games i have missed out. everyone else on the internet seems to go through every single new game asap and then forget about it.
i rather have them spaced out throughthe year, but i guess publishers just hate that summer period.
game droughts doesnt affect me too much though since i dont really like every game that comes out. i end up playing my old ff games 99% of the time anyway.
