i think this will count as another vita device. dont qoute me on this, but i think each psn account can have upto 4 vitas to freely share games with. not sure what happens when you go online with 2 of the same accounts though.

anyway. read on gaf(i know they are not experts) and they mentioned it was due to the esram and the low bandwith it has. fox engine apparently uses deferred rendering instead of forward rendering which needs a high bandwidth.

its talking about console sales. 1m people in uk has a ps4 already so its not out of this world.
using as an example, since no numbers are given, numbers estimated from 1m ps4 units sold within a year. dont take these numbers as accurate.
lets just say ps4 does 20,000 hardware sales a week, 80% boost meant 36,000 sold that week.
xbone had a 155% increase from last week, it says edged over so lets say it sold 37k. that means it sold roughly 14,500 xbon...

if you talking about the hdmi input the xbone has to use as a dvr then thats completely different. the pstv cant even do that.
its really hard to understand what the pstv is for, kind of the same for psvita tbh.
on the gaming side, this is mainly for ps fans who pobably hasnt got the handhelds and want to play it on their big screen for minimal cost.
not every household has a streaming box in every room. i know a few people who would be able to enjoy netflix in their room without using a tablet or laptop.
remote play? not sure how much this function would be used tho...
its strange, its really hard to call something a tv device unless there is a remote for it. however, ive never bought a remote for a console before and would most likely not buy one for this device.
i think its safe to say that most people have smart phones, so maybe give us option to control the device via phone and give us option to choose movie using phone which will save time navigating menus on the pstv.
