so many great indies, the one i want to play the most is cuphead. shame its an xbone exclusive though. fingers crossed it will go to ps4/vita sometime in the future.
probably around that mark. expect 1-2 hours each episode depending on how quick you are.
just googled abzu. its not being developed by thatgamecompany. its being developed by giantsquid, a new company made by one of the art directors that made flower and journey.
should be titled some of the most anticipated instead of one.
anywaay, looking forward to type-0 on that list. zelda looks great but im probably not going to purchase a wiiU anytime soon.
also looking forward to the rainbow six game more than the division. not sure how well it plays with a control pad though.
was excited about this. but getting bored of ubisofts open world structure.
you'll probably want to wait to see if the game has any online connectivity issues aswell. the always online always connected thing is causing a lot of problems.
tetris from ubisoft has framerate problems because of online and having too many friends. just saying be cautious and probably wait til they resolve issues if there are any.
wasnt that the forced stealth section?
never was a big fan of those kind of sections but graphics were amazing
never really got into wipeout. controls just never felt right for me. im pok at playing any other racing type game.
totally no need for that. with their track record it just wouldnt be succesful enough.
does sega have any games/series that even sell?
the only reason i want them around is to make yakuza games and maybe make give shenmue another chance.
im not 100% sure of the timeline, but sega was almost bankrupt at that time. if it wasnt for sammy and their pachinko machines they would have went under.
rare is a tiny game studio. totally different to buying a masive company.
their relationship with ms hasnt been for that long.
they had a windows ce option for the dreamcast, but no developers wanted to develop games for the windows ce model. think it cost more.
ms definitely got interested into making consoles with their sega partnership. big sega games went onto the xbox, gc had a few and sony barely got anything. but as sega knew from experience. sony was the console selling more and they kinda had no choice but to work with them aswell....
hopefully it would be on vita aswell.
thatgamecompany has grown so much during the course of ps3. flow to flower to journey. cant believe sony didnt buy this company or sign a long term exclusive/publishing deal.
its been a while now, want to see what kind of game they are making. if its a ms exclusive then i will be dissapointed.
you need to be careful, knowing sony. they will try and slip in music unlimited with that entertainment package. >.<
its definitely a tough choice. at the end of the day it depends on what channels you like. some people love to have all sports channels so they would never cancel their cable/sat.
thank god someone here mentions multiplats. feels like we are not allowes to talk about those anymore.
is it that taboo to mention multiplats on these ps4/xbone lists?
not every has a console this gen or a pc good enough to run games on.
withcer 3
mgs phantom pain
ff type-0(?). it is a final fantasy game so i guess it is still anticipated
resident evil revelations 2. its got barry.
not really a horror aspect in that game. puzzle solving was also very simple.
re5 took puzzle away because of mp and it just didnt really make sense anymore after re4.
qte is great if used right. shenmue was qte king and i loved that game.
the parts i hate qte is boss fights where you get them down to certain health then only way to finish it off is trigger a qte sequence.
the other part is when i am watching a cutscene and a qte prompt shows up but i miss it and die.
qte in cutscenes can work, but they shouldnt punish me from death because i missed it. i wouldnt mind a qte section in a middle of cutscene w...
it did 2 things right.
advanced the re tank contol, all it did was have a free aim but that wasperfect for head shots.
revolutionised 3rd person shooters. before this game 3rd person shooters were basically 1st person shooters with a zoomed out character perspective.
re4 had a great camera angle and zooming in for better aim was amazing.
everything else just ripped out RE's soul.
when i first booted up re4. i was just shocked, looking st the graphics and thinking how they managed to pull something like that off without pre renderd backgrounds.
camera angle was brilliant. aiming zoomed in and felt perfect.
controls were true to originals, loved that it still had tank control, loved that changing to knife was made simply holding down the shoulder button. kicking stunned enemies was also great.
then came the village act...
i dont care too mich about games lengths.
i do tend to have long gaming sessions when i get a new game which is kinda bad for games that i have waited ages for. mgs4 being a good example, waited so long for that game and completed it in 2 sessions which made me annoyed.
