the general public like big budget titles because they are more known and dev teams are usually bigger so they should be able to create a better game.
indie games are great, if it wasnt more me loving ground zeroes so much, i would say that i have enjoyed indies a lot more than retail(aaa) games.
i have not played an indie game where i have loved the story or presentation yet. the forest looks interesting.
uniforms have less things, but those shiny chain/metal things on the old one was really low quality anyway.
details on faces seemed to have improved. could see more wrinkles on the guy.
think everything looks darker because they are using actual light sources. or that could just be the change in day it is taking place.
according to the article. the top one is the old build, thats the one thats very bright.
the new build is the bottom one. the darker one.
the newer darker build seem to have mor detail on the face, but cant really tell from gif quality. lighting is totally different so cant tell if that is from the difference in day or if its an improved lighting system.

the 4.6 m over exagerated? that was official numbers from sony. it was a 6 week perios though.
Seems strange that home consoles are getting smaller and portable devices such as 3ds or phones are getting bigger.
But yeah, i think its too soon for a slim. If its not that much smaller the its no point.
Are ram chips even that big?
Ps4 slim is gonna be a while. Xbone will definitely come out with a slim 1st since the device can easily be slimmed down with a different case.

Kinda wished that fox engine was a licensed engine. This series would look so much better in that engine.
its probably not a good idea. i personally dont use the drive that much but its good to know its there when i buy retail on impulse.

pspgo was a good idea, but it floped for many reasons. psn digital store especially for psp wasnt popular or probably wasnt in existence(canf remember). it cost more than the other designs.

what victories? slim version is obviously a global product so looking at global numbers makes more sense than just US.
saw another article mention ps4 sold .9m more than xbone in december.
im expecting an xbone slim around e3 though. they need to boost sales and a slim version is pretty easy considering the size of the xbone.
they should just bundle it with a lot of their first party titles. add in knack and killzone. not like anyone is going to buy those new anymore.
yeah, its quite sad that they dont even mention any numbers. it is hard to look at vgchartz or go on neogaf for US npd numbers.

anyway, according to vgchartz(dont have any other numbers to look at) ps4 is only .7m ore than xbone. us is clearly the biggest market at the moment so maybe sony would need a price cut to widen the margin.

xbone temp price cut should have been for all western territories or even worldwide. think most of that 2.3m is from us and uk.
those black bars were to boost performance without the need of upscaling and also give it a different feel.
ive heard some pc gamers with bigger monitors actually like having those black bars. i havent played evil within yet but i will play 1886. so i will hold my judgement about those black bars until i experience it myself.

i like console games/ playstation games a lot more than pc games atm. but pc gaming is getting more and more ps games. mgs is getting ported, ffxv may have a high chance of being ported.
i think i stick to ps for a little lomger because of uncharted and infamous. might get a gaming pc in a few years when ps4 hardware will show how outdated it is and get a pc that can run games atleast on high settings.
