Shouldn't a game save be decided by whatever the medium it is on unless the user itself wants all games saved on the memory card? this should be decided by the user and not the developer.
I mean how can a developer not leave 5mb of space for game saves on a game card? I mean saving games on a memory card just seem stupid because gamers will be swapping memory cards in and out all the time (unless they release a 500GB memory card).
haven't played any monster hunter games properly yet but definitely will purchase whatever MH game released on the Vita.
Is 3G a port of the wii version? why wouldnt they just port that to the Vita and PS3 version instead of porting portable 3rd? was portable 3rd a better game? or is portable 3rd going to be multiplayer cross platform with all 3 playstation systems?
I thought game saves are stored on whatever the medium the game was on, e.g. If a game was on a game card it was saved on that, if the game was downloaded onto a memory card it would save onto the memory card.
Maybe I am wrong though
Apart from the handhelds and the wii... Nintendo didn't have any backwards compatible
This is really old news. Sony has said from the beginning that the PS3 is multi-region but it is upto developers/publishers to lock it if they want to.
I would like to note that Japanese PS3's cannot play European PSone games because the NTSC PS3's doesn't output a PAL signal.
I just think Sony is rushing too many games out in preparation for the Vita launch. Guess we have to wait until proper Vita exclusives to come out.
wait isnt Ridge Racer Vita made by the division that Namco and Sony formed? think it was called CELL or something.
Im guessing it isn't sim-locked and AT&T is only the preferred network.
I guess the only way to know for sure is to just sit and wait until the US release date is closer.
I was a PS3 Early Adopter and I can play PS2 games on it. So did I get screwed?
Doesn't restarting the level mean that the glitch broke the game? Well I do understand that its not a big problem though.
@strange_evil
I think the media likes to show glitches because people are interested in game glitches. Well I am anyway and I find game glitches amusing
Agree with you all the way... maybe they should learn how to rate games from 1-10 instead of 5-10.
But I guess its too risky for any journalists to do that since it messes with the metacritic score and stupid "gamers"(fanboys) will get pissed and avoid/boycott the reviewers website.
very brave move by Sony I guess, not sure how many companies will follow this program but I hope they all will.
I do see a big loophole(in a way) in this process though, people can easily pirate UMD's by renting the game, transferring it to the PS3 and then return the game back.
Update:
Just noticed that Sony is charging people to transfer UMD games into Vita. I guess that makes more sense from Sony
Well, at the moment I think capcom and Namco agreed to do one game each, so it should be safe to say that a sequel to SF x Tekken will not be released so soon
why wouldn't it have alot of returning characters?
the street fighter series has always done that, remember sfII and turbo. they just made the four bosses playable.
i do think they should have made it a dlc tho, capcom seems to have screwed over buyers of the original games alot (RE5, sfIV)
wait so its bad to have DLC released at the same time as the game and now its bad for DLC to not come straight away?
Remember when pre-ordering games had no advantages what so ever? Now naughty dog decides to provide some free content to people who pre-order their game are now doing something bad???
Just think its a little stupid that this is any news
All Sony has to do now is to certify my android phones otherwise his is pointless
The PS Certified android devices has some standard.
Alot of people has a mobile phone, it is safe to presume that their phone is able to share an internet connection with other wifi devices.
I understand that not all gamers will have a PS3 or a Vita, but it would be great option for gamers that have both. If not then atleast release a port which could share the save file.
How about SF X Tekken?
PS versions have extra characters
Pathetic article
