people like multiplayer for the competitive side. others like it for the social side. i guess co op is a pretty cool idea, but if done like resident evil then it ruins the single player game.
i personally like single player, but i wouldnt mind something with some multiplayer aspects. i do want to say that i do not have much time to game so i rather play a 20 hour max single player game and then move onto the next.

I think that male protaginist does make the game attract more people, but maybe by a small margin.

Adding a female protaginist would basically mean having to write a new character/backstory, actresses etc.

lets all admit that it is a big risk to use a female protaginist. I mean a rough estimate of gamers being guys would be around 80%. A lot of gamers do feel like playing a guy. Like books, movies and video games it is easier to put yourself in the main characters shoes if they are the same gender.
However, I do understand that a female protaginist would get you more media attention hence making it easier to market.

People will hate me for saying this, but the KOF fighters are pretty cool, they should make some kind of single player RPG type game similar to shenmue. If not KOF, then Fatal Fury. If not that then Capcom should do that with street fighter.

delay means game is not ready therefore publishers are allowing devs to continue longer to fix things, why do others find it bad?

I think it's a purely F2P game. I doubt it would come out on disk. Though i think PSO2 for vita did come out on disk as well but that's just game with DLC credit if I am not wrong.
Also if PS4 is similar to PS3 with multiple accounts then it shouldn't be too much problem just downloading from japan store and playing with UK account? I could be wrong though.

I mean Black Flag was amazing. The next pirate game could be more Piratey, with better mechanics and less AC style.
It is quite stupid that they didn't really release this game over here. But considering the server costs and the F2P competition it would be tough. It's a very japanese style multiplayer game and in western territories these games would be compared to wow and other mmorpg's.
This game however being an actual retail game would be the safer bet and have a better chance of coming out over here.
It's a shame that the F2P version didnt come out in western territories was waiting for that game for a while.
This game looks great and I'm glad that they are making this game with a single player focus. let's hope they can make this game come out over here.
Excited about this game and Digimon. hopefully they will make Type-0 for vita as well as PS4 and Xbone. Seems like a wasted opportunity.
There is a few problems regarding the powers talk.
1. it took a big chunk out of the conference time
2. most people don't care about the tv aspects. I think sony and MS spent a lot of time doing that last year and people hated it.
3. It's niche, most people don't know about it. The others don't care.
4. Most watch TV shows for free, they hardly want to pay to watch them. Netflix works, but it has other tv show...
just the power to run vr is going to need something rewlly really powerful.
sony is telling devs to aim for graphics similar to ps3 then slowly upgrade. since a solid 60hz is needed.
