well, s-e does help with handheld console sales, just look at every game they released and the boost thehandheld device gets in sale that week or 2.
their biggest problem i have with them is the lack of vita support. they could easily port games to the vita but they choose not to.
i think its greed with ios hasnt interfered with the handheld consoles at all. could you imagine s-e releasing all their games for £1 on ios but you would need to spend atleast £30 on portable console version?

first of all, remeber that this is for ps3 and ps2 games. no ps4 games are planned yet. so this is more of a rent old games kinda thing.
secondly, i want to rent something and play immediately.. think about movies, i can rent on demand or i goto a rental store and pick something out, i choose on demand movies.

i think the biggest problem with this game would be having 4 different multiplayer games. not that its a totally bad thing. but would be a cool idea to just have 1 multiplayer game so that its more unified. or i could be totally wrong and people like the different aspects of multiplayers from each game.

loved his game, actually the gameplay kinda sucked. it was just the dialogue that made the game good. makes you wonder if someone could make a game with 100% dialogue and no gameplay and still be succesful.

i dont think the person with power to issue the refund knew about this price drop. therfore it took a while for customers to get an update on the situation.
i e had money refunded and the game for free in many sitations, given that the game wasnt working in the first place but they have been kind.
the difference is that the customer services were not told about this. stupid in sonys sideto not tell them, but staff at customer services cannoy just hand out refunds out of thin air.
isnt that character model always the same distance away from the screen in gameplay? maybe im just not thinking properly but it seemed more like it was talking about cutscenes.
the problem with games today is that the costs are way too high to make.
older games could be made in a shorter time with less people which meant les costs and less risk
also older games are easier to eemember because they were probably the first of its kind. its hard to be innovative these days since most ideas have already been done. the cost too make a game also means that publishers do not want to risk it on an unproven style of game.

uncharted always used more than one model, one for gameplay and one for cutscene.
also would like to point out that uncharted cutscenes have always been prerendered ingame assets. think it was done so that loading would be quicker aswell as them able to add more detail and lighting effects.
not sure about this game, but preorder will probably give you a free dlc atleast.
also future titles will allow for preloading game so you can play at launch. tlou sadly doesnt support that.
definitely, but just simple ports would also sell a bunch on the vita aswell. i think vita owners would love for a traditional jrpg.
theres a bunch of monster hunter clones coming out, but im kinda sick of them. ffx was great, give us more, or just port us more.
