I would rather just have my own powerful PC/Console, but new "cloud" technology will open up some interesting possibilities.

Actually most people I've heard from seem to prefer Second Son. I don't really see the need to pit the two against one another though.
They are both ridiculously powerful and their prices reflect that. I'm going to stick with Nvidia for my "gaming laptop" and look into the Firepro line for 10bit color, etc. when if I get a "professional" rig. The w9100 is out of my price range for now either way.
