That's a great point and one of the things that separates this game from many other shooters.
Good list, but I think I'm done with Steam until they change some things. Appreciate the effort of the author though.
These guys know what they are going and this game will probably be very good.
I hope they didn't spend too much time on the transformation, etc. but this is next gen after all and the game is very detailed in general.
Lol@all the stealth disagrees for every comment.
I'll leave you a sweet comment. I decided to give your videos another chance after being annoyed by your injection of personal/political opinions as fact
Nice work on this video. Definitely a good idea to support devs(and others) with kind words. So again, good job!
Just (for the love of god) remember to try to remain open minded and question your perceptions. Keep getting better.
I think your comment below rings true much more than #7.
It has a lot more to do with marketing, support, and creating a buzz than anything else at this point.
Nintendo has shown already with the record sales of the 3DS that tablets and phones can essentially be a non-issue.
At the height of the trendyness and novelty, 3DS was still breaking sales records.
Also, check out the price point of the 3DS and how when they hit the sweet spot the sales went through the...
Yeah, that ONM UK article is much trashier than the game they were trashing. Much more so because of the hypocrisy, hate, and nasty attitude of the writer.
Kudos to Katsuu, a fine woman, standing up to weird, mentally ill writers who promote censorship.
IMO it's hard to find "proper news outlets" these days though. The New York Times is considered by many to be a proper news outlet, but I read an article from them recently that read like it was written b...
Swapping the word extreme with radical would work too.
"stupid article by default"
What this proves is that all these people writing clickbait articles with ISMs in the titles are perpetuating the "boy who cried wolf effect".
What that means is, when there is a real issue that needs resolution, many people will not take them seriously anymore.
Only the most obstinately naïve people will continue to cling on as these hot button issues lose their magic by overuse.
Unfortunately it is OFTEN at...
That could definitely build some momentum if they play their cards right.
Is that an Xbone in that photo?
I think I still have Turok 2 somewhere. Those games were pretty mind blowing.
Same here. I have my doubts about "Hollywood" and the games industry mixing. But as was stated by porkChop he's probably a real gamer. Really depends on the situation I guess.
With exactly the same gameplay, at a higher frame rate, and with audio that was enhanced but not altered in any other way.
Really one of the most awe-inspiring video games I've ever played.
It depends on the situation. If you know what you are doing you can get good deals from either place. This is a good deal with the free shipping and probably no sales tax BTW. [:
I agree but when so much money is involved, PR is important even for quality studios. For example, if saying it was a design decision can keep trolls from ruining their reputation online then maybe it's a white lie. It really was a design decision technically so it's only a half truth heh heh.
Not everyone thinks like us. A lot of PR talk is total BS and some of it is necessary to appease unreasonable zealots.
ND is one of the few studios that is talented enough in the graphics department to show that games can look technically stunning on current hardware at 60fps. Like next level mind-blowingly stunning.
Some of the kings/queens of optimization, ingenuity, intelligent solutions, and so on work there.
Can't believe you got disagrees in an era where many devs don't focus enough on gameplay/overall experience.
I just bought the Thief collection on GOG and these games provide a much more thrilling experience than 95% of the games that have come out lately IMO.
Feel bad for any family who lets their kids play this garbage.
