Yes we did...Skyrim says high. RAM for open world games is beyond important and less is very bad. For things like particle effects it makes a huge difference.
I can't tell you how many games I love but because of RAM restrictions the titles suffered greatly.

You two don't have kids do you. 1st off cell phones aren't pointed at your room...say your bedroom or even better your kids bedroom. So they can't just turn on the camera and watch what is going on. They might be able to remote on the mic but not really going to get much and the camera on a cell would be pointed either up at the ceiling or down on a surface.

Even if you do prefer the current version of XBLG how can you say it will continue to be superior to a future service that has yet to be released or even fully demonstrated...so yeah you assume a lot.

The recording featured is a background function that is being controlled by a secondary chip that does not task the Ram.
Everyone forgets that the secondary background chip exists and that it's a 4 core chip that will handle everything non game related in the background.
So zero impact on the Ram from that stuff.

You do realize lords of shadow 2 is a metroidvania game right...David Cox didn't like to call it that in an interview but he said part two would be a lot more in line with those types of games.
LoS is a great franchise but the combat can get repetitive with little replay value. In previous games there was a ton of reasons to go back and play through multiple times and that had a lot to do with the more open world feel and RPG weapon systems.
that's not true at all PS2's always played PS1 games because the disc format and the reader being acceptable CD...
as far as PS2 games on PS3 like I said below early versions of the console came with an additional hardware chip set thus allowing original PS2 games to work. Once the chip set was removed Sony and other companies started releasing HD remakes which were coded and even tweaked for PS3 usage.
I hope this clears things up for everyone.
Because the digital re-releases are actually HD remakes and they were recoded for the PS3 that would be why. The original PS2 disks require access to the cell processor and emotion chip which do not exist in later versions of the PS3 thus making them not functional on the PS3's without the chips. 2nd what rental service do you know of allows you to keep building your library of games each month...with no limit?
3rd you spend $50 a year and get tons of free DLC, avatars, early betas and save over $500 a year on game purchases...so yeah you say rental WE say smart consumer friendly service that saves smart people mon...
Like solid said public companies have investors and they would see a CEO fired if they intentionaly took a hit to game market share...investors dont care who owns the bulk of the market they only care if they lost or gained money.
That was 6 months after launch and because the vita came out at same price with better hardware and more features. This made consumers say WTF why does the 3D cost so much and it stalled out in sales so they dropped price andthen it picked up in sales.
The majority of gamers have budgets and an idea of price versus perceived content value for them which dictates if they buy early and how much they are willing to spend. Only blind fanboys need zero logic with their purchasing ...
See and I'm the opposite I didn't care for the original series but feel in love with the X series and Zero in particular. He was way more fun and challenging to play with than X or the original Megaman.
