Come on is this a joke? I will probably buy more Xbox games than PS4 games in 18, as I love my X but Sony has had one of the best generations, ever. I expect that to continue in 18.
Do games desensitise violence. Not for me. Been playing games since 79. Games, movies, are fatansy, make believe, not real, real life is real life. My parents taught me that at a very young age. There is a difference. They have ratings for a reason and parents must be parents.
To be fair the PS4 has passed 70million, so it is having one of the best generations ever, and had a great holiday which is impressive.

I think MS can walk and chew gum, and I am sure the team's that are working on back compat are not taking away from new games being made. They got the X out, which is great, and I think they can continue updating back compat and X enabled games while getting new games released. I also own the Pro and I find it hilarious when gamers say they are no games or exclusives for the X. I bought 2 exclusive PS4 games in 2017 for the PS4, those were the only games I bought for the console this ...
It clearly has paid off for Nintendo and it is great to see them back doing well in the console space. I wanted a traditional Nintendo console with at least PS4 specs and not into portable gaming so I can't see buying a Switch, but there really is no debate, it was the right move. A healthy console market is great for all gamers.
I hope they all do well. I just can't get gamers who praise and cheer for one company while bashing the other company. A healthy console industry is good for all console gamers.

If there is DLC that interests me, or if there is a game where I just want to enjoy and not want to devote much time unlocking everything I buy, and I am not a dumb gamer. Been gaming since the late 70s, owned every console since then and now, and working upwards of 50-60 hours a week, sometimes many just don't have the time, and buy DLC or performance upgrades. I stay out of telling other gamers, many of which I hope are mature, grown, some middle aged men who have established careers...
Switch I expect to continue doing well, but dominate. Is that what the Switch has been doing so far?
I hear many people say that about Seagate, but I have been using their drives especially their SSHD drives for years no issues.
I have well over 16TB of external drives. Currently using 1 WD 2.5" 4TB passport and 2 Seagate 2TB Firecuda SSHD drives for a total of 8TB for the X1X.
All my consoles are plugged into surge protectors so will leave the X in also

I am loving the X, but I also have a PS4 Pro. Why would any gamer be worried? Sony has run away with this gen and there is nothing MS can do to change that. MS now offers two options for gamers and devs like Sony does. That is great for console gamers in my view.
Simple answer is no. This must be a joke. There is no way MS would invest what they have invested in the Xbox brand to go third party. I know there are many MS haters out there but lets come back to reality here. They have the Xbox platform and windows PC platform for their games. Good enough..
Well, to be fair as I look back to 2016 when I bought my Pro it came with no games or bundles and honestly, the X doesn't need to be packed in with anything, as I have upwards of 200 plus Xbox games already ready to go from jump most of them have been improved right out of the gates, not including all the new games that just released wich are better on the X compared to any other console, so no surprise there would be no bundles for the X. I find many gamers fickle and act like teenagers...
That's cool. I buy all multiplats on the X1X, and there are only a few PS4 exclusives I am looking forward to which is why I said I will definitely buy more games on the X, but like i said i expect Sony to continue rolling in 18 like they have this entire generation. I do expect MS to have a better 18 than 17, though.
