There is no blind loyalty here. I have owned every console since 1980, so I have been console gaming many years and not just loyal to one brand.
Whoever makes the games I want that is the platform I play them on, so I don't fall into the latter.
You are right, MS earned their fortunes and misfortune. I don't feel for them, as they are going to be fine no matter what happens to the Xbox brand.

As a life long multiconsole owner and Xbox being my favorite platform, and I am not interested in PC gaming, there is always room in my home for an Xbox, especially one that plays my 3 generation of Xbox games at no extra cost and new games which Sony is not doing, so I look forward to the successor of the Xbox 1X.

Sony won the day the PS4 launched. They got this on lock and as this generation is winding down, Nintendo had to release a hybrid, MS released two revisions, none of it affected Sony much, Sony can pretty much just walk this generation right into the PS5. In other words they have already won. I own all the consoles except the Switch, so for me, and since I buy all 3rd games on the X1X, from Sony I am just looking for Naughty Dog, and 1 or two of their other exclusives I like.
The title is hilarious. Sony has to do absolutely nothing, as they have been winning this entire generation.

Everyone did not hate Rage, as I loved it hoping it gets the Xbox1X enhancement treatment as I am still looking for some missed achievements in this one.

Absolutely love Xbox back compat. I really don't get hung up on what consoles has what exclusives, as I rank my consoles on use, actual games, not just exclusives. Last I checked I only bought 1 PS4 game(GOW) this year, so I find it interesting when some make Sony out like they are releasing 4 5 6 or more great exclusives per year. I just don't get it. The same people continually complain about no new games. What is the point to that? If MS doesn't have the games you want, then don't support them but this constant negativity, I just can't get with. I always own multiple consoles so I don't get attached to them but these gamers who constantly want to beat MS over the head with ever Sony release is ridiculous to me.
Yes, they are in the store, digital, and in most cases cheaper than buying on Ebay, Amazon, or Gamestop

Yep, they did an awesome job. I have too many games to play on X1X.
All the games looks really good I have played especially Conker. So far I have not been able to get SSX3 to load.
