Between my current X1, 360 back compat games, I have too much to play, so I can't wait to get the console. Every 3rd party game is exclusive since I usually buy the X1 version. I already have a PS Pro for the few Sony games I like, and not into PC gaming, so I am covered no matter what happens going forward.
um, no, I don't see it happening, but it is no doubt the Switch is doing well out of the gates. Will see if this is sustainable.
Agree
Not if you are not interested in a portable or Nintendo games. I am happy to see Nintendo's rebound as it is great for the industry and glad to see the Switch doing well, I am just not interested in it at all, so matters to me it does not. It should be a concern for Nintendo that many of the big new 3rd party titles don't seem to be coming to the Switch.
That would be great if they rented games. Gamefly has saved me thousands of dollars over the years.
Yes, consumers still need Gamestop. I don't visit their stores that often but I have bought retro stuff and hard to find games on their website. Other than that mostly all my current X1S PS4 Pro games are digital, but Gamestop provides an important service to many and I hope they continue, but many of their locations are have closed. I support giving consumers options.
Yeah, I am enjoying the game on the Pro
Sony doesn't own Crash, so I would like to see it not only on the Xbox 1S, Xbox One X, and PC, but the the Nintendo Switch cause I say devs should put their games on as many platforms as possible. I own all the consoles except Nintendo's portable, so I am for getting the games on as many outlets as possible, and don't care about the exclusive nonsense some gamers seems to want to use to bash the other game makers consoles.
I am loving BC not only on the X1S, but still playing many of my original Xbox games on the 360. I have too many games to play, so keep the BC titles coming, Microsoft.
If it aint made by MS or Sony, I'll pass.. There is no way this is competing with the PS4 Pro or X. It is Atari..
Meh, was never into the Crackdown games, so this one is not on my radar.
Best console ever might be going overboard, but I can't wait to get one, given the benefits it will allow for existing games, 3rd party games and BC.
If that is the case then that is why Sony and MS are offering the base, and S models which are cheaper for the price conscious console gamers.
It will work like it now does now with updates, with any game over the 50GB disc limit, it will download the rest. If you are like me where most of my games are digital there is no 50GB limit. Phil was clear only the Xbox X will require the 4k assest, not the orig X1 or X1S, so the extra space requirement will not be forced on the lower spec consoles.
I have 8TB of storage so fine with that. Can't wait. Did gamers not think 4K assets would take up more space?
I got MAme arcade on my PC and it has over 10000 games on it. I would love to see any of the console makers do something like that. I just ordered a multi disc emulator that has damn near every Super Nes, Nes, Tubo Grafx 16, N64, Genesis, Nintendo handheld for much less than the 21 games Nintendo is offering for $80 with the Snes mini. I would love to see something similar by someone released.
I agree, Nintendo should have released a cheaper Wiiu, but they didn't
Apparently, they could or would not reduce the price if the cost to make the console was high
I got the physical copy from Gamefly, $24
Yes, it does need as many updates as Microsoft deems necessary to improve the platform. Totally fine with the updates, as I prefer the Xbox ui to the Playstation, so keep em coming MS, mine auto updates, while in sleep mode, so what is the big deal other than just to bash MS? What is the point to this article?
