Yeah, I get what you are saying about exclusives matters. I own everyone of the PS4 Pro exclusives this gen and have not been able finish any of them, and with my backlog going all the way back to the 8bit days, and being more into retro gaming at this point in my gaming life, I can only see getting one console next gen.

Exclusives make up such a small % of overall games released, so every game is exclusive to the platform I buy them on. Series X is important for my gaming since It has the potential to support 4 generations of Xbox games, not just exclusives, but games, many enhanced, and that is what I rank my consoles on actual usage.
Yep, between the OG xbox, X360, X1, that is a lot of space. Like 500 games. Those X1X UHD enhanced games are huge files.
The score is 0 - 0, starting this gen, as far as I am concerned. The past is over there is no going back. A healthy console market with Nintendo, Sony, MS doing well is better for all gamers as far as I am concerned.
I am concerned about space next gen as this gen I am using 4TB Samsung QVO SSD in my PS4 Pro and using 10TB of Samsung Evo 860 SSD in my X1X. If I understand MS/Sony correctly, the Series X/PS5 are setup so any storage device can be used to store Series X, PS5 games, but in order to play them they would need to be transferred and played on the internal SSD. If this is true, then we should be fine as storage goes next gen.
I remember back when I was in college, working at Sears at the Saturn launch. Had never heard of Playstation, so I bought the Saturn which came out a week before the Playstation. The PS1 comes out, and I was like damn, I want that instead of this as mostly all the multiplat games looked better and there were many technical issues with the early Saturn games. Meh, I disagree. Development for the new consoles will be what has been done on PCs. Develop for the new hardware, scale down to previous gen. Everything should be fine. No one left behind for at least the near future. I am fine with that.
I assume the price difference will be a minor $50. If so is it really worth it for the disc less version?
