I am so early into the game, I am fine starting over.
Console gamer only here. Consoles are good enough for my tastes.
I agree with everything you said, but I feel this happening greedy or not on Sony's part, as technology continues moving forward. I plan on sticking with my digital PS5 unit unless the Pro has mind blowing specs.
To be honest, based on the original design, the slim looks like how I figured it would look. Did many really think Sony would redesign it compared to the original? Given how the original is designed, I seriously doubt Sony would be able to shrink the console like they did with the PS1 PS2. I would think there would be massive overheating issues if they tried to reduce the size. I am fine with the size, and I expect a Pro model to be just as big if it is as powerful as many are saying.
I just installed. I already have 4TB Nextorage in my PS5, and 8 just seems like overkill but the option is nice.
Just got mine in from Gamefly and it is on 2 discs for the Series X.
I could be wrong but this seems like a ridiculous argument to me. TLOU2 to me is a masterpiece. It plays out like and rivals many movies so I am not shocked it costed as much as it did. Naughty Dog's games generally are better and of a higher tier than most devs and sure a budget like this is not sustainable for those smaller devs or those devs of lesser quality, but I am not shocked by the numbers. Game making costs have steadily increased , and it's probably why we see very few ...
I love my Series X and PS5 but I can't help but wonder how MS missed an opportunity here with the black SS. I am fine with the added storage but given how storage prices have fallen I think the black SS should have been the new $299 and they should have dropped the white SS to maybe $249 lower, or discontinue it altogether. If they were going to raise the price I think they should have added some performance improvements like more ram, more powerful GPU, or a mix of the two and not just...
I just got mine and love it. I bought to stream my Series X and PS5 games and so far at least in my home works damn near flawless. I will see how it works at my job, but so far it is just what I wanted.
This is moot. Clearly, the S is going nowhere, as MS is releasing the black one with no performance upgrades, so if it is holding back the X, well, it just will have to and if it is helping lose the war againgst Sony that some seem to keep pushig, MS seems to be fine with that.
Seems clear to me for a long time MS is steering away fròm the Xbox platform to where their games will be available to almost any platform via Gamepass, including the PC, so I expect MS will...
I am thinking about pulling the trigger also.
I remote play my PS5 and Series X games on my 10.5 inch tablet using each controller. I am fine with that. I would not be surprised if Sony sells the Q for $299.
WTF🤣😂
Microsoft, really...
I am still baffled how MS went from the X1X to the Series S....
I am sure MS has not ruled that out as they probably have some hardware team right now working on hardware on the downlow.
MS clearly is sticking with the SS, especially after the black 1TB reveal, as it is a budget console, but those who think that a PS5 Pro will get released and MS doesn't have teams in the back corner working on more powerful hardware, especially given the amount of money they throw around are delusional. I am fine with the black SS, but I am baffled why MS did not take the opportunity to not only increase the storage but maybe improve the performance whether on the GPU/CPU side or more ra...
Can I play my Series X and PS5 games on the go with it?
Can someone ask Phil why there is not a Series X digital console.
The black SS should have at least had a ram increase, maybe a GPU/CPU, some sort of performance improvement not just add storage for $349. MS missed an opportunity here. Other than that I am fine with my PS5 and Series X.
I am fine with black SS, but did they improve the power level, maybe improving the GPU from 4 to 6 Tflops and maybe some more ram.
Or at some point, MS plans to acquire Ubi-Soft...
