I like both consoles, although play the 1 more than the 4 as I prefer its setup, os, controller, apps, but I always wondered how MS arrived at the 32megs of ESram. Why didn't they just go with 64 or 256 or 512? Seems devs are complaining that it is too small more than anything else.

I owned a PS2 but hated its hardware. I remember wanting to return the console on launch, when I got it. I played all multiplats on the Xbox, especially if they were online, and it seems only the Sony devs could get good performance out of it, aside from a few devs. Most of of low res shimmering visuals gave me nauseating feeling. I actually preferred the Dreamcast to it, but there is no doubt the console had support and software.
I get what u r saying, like I said is why I own both consoles, and just plan on enjoying what they both bring to the table. Right now I am enjoying the One more than I am the PS4. So, whatever how many times they are more powerful than last gen, I don't care, I just want good games and both consoles have plenty under the hood to do that as far as I am concerned.

This is crazy. I like TR, I own both consoles, but to attack anyone over a video game is crazy. Fine by me, I got both consoles to enjoy what both brings to the table, but it has been hilarious to see the gamer outrage, because many are so pissed off at MS for what they did not do. There is noway in hell Sony has made up in 8months the cost associated with the years it took to manufacture, ship, R&D for the PS4, especially given their massive financial issues with their overall company. I don't think it is good to loose any money but usually console manufactures take huge losses at the release of new hardware.
I got all three of the consoles, and the majority of multiplats I have on the One. I am fine with the multiplats on the One especially if they are online multiplayer. These topics are interesting..

Anyone who bought the consoles had to look at the release schedule to see if there were enough games coming that appealed to them before buying, right. First year always goes slow as it takes time to make the games..
I own both consoles, and although I see the difference, it is not that big of deal for as far as my eyes can see. There has always been console differences. The PS2 surely wasn't equal to the Xbox. It is funny, now it is an issue this gen. I hope devs get over this and just make the best games they can make for each platform. I will determine which version to get. That is all I ask.
Have they learned anything from the X1 un bundling of kinect? Most are not paying $149 for that. Take the game out of the box make it on par cost wise with Sony's camera. If they can't recoup their investment, well, it is their fault for pushing this device on us gamers when most of us just wanted a games machine like Sony had the good sense to deliver.
