I bought multiplats on the orig Xbox vs the PS2, bought multiplats on the 360 compared to the PS3, and switched back to buying them on the One compared to the PS4, so if gamers want to buy whatever version for whatever reason, it is their choice and whatever anyone says about that really doesn't matter. I own both and buy mostly all multiplats on the X1. I prefer the controller, online, most friends are on the Xbox, achievements, UI of the One over the PS4, and 900p upscaled to 1080p vs 1080p native is close enough as my eyes can tell, so I am fine wit it.
Yes, it is dead for those of us that want games like Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2, Uncharted, Madden, NBA, shooters, console like experience on the go, and anything other than rpg, Indie, bite sized phone like games. Sony buried the Vita a long time ago for many of us in the States which loved the PSP, and bought the Vita on Day 1, hoping by adding another analog stick w/kickass hardware would lead to more of the games we wanted to play, and not the Indie stuff which it is flooded with now.
Had mine since Day 1 2012 launch. I mainly play NG 1 and 2, Uncharted, Killzone, PSP sidescrollers and shooters, and now that I have a 64gb card it is getting used to store movies. Looks and plays fantastic on the One. I chosed the One version over the PS4 version as I prefer its setup and controller. Looks like a good choice..

I agree, I did not buy a PS4 and X1 to play last gen games. If I want that I will continue playing them on the 360 PS3. Sony and MS already stated with radically different architecture of this gens consoles bc was not happening so why many keep asking for it like there is some switch to turn on is almost hilarious.
I am so over this. I own both consoles, and devs should just concentrate on making the best games each hardware will allow. End of story as far as I am concerned. If they have to run the game at 900P upscaled to get 60fps on the One, so be it, or if the consoles are not goid enough them just make tge games exclysive to the PC, and we know that aint hapoening, so devs no other options, as the PS4 and One is what we got going forward so devs will have to work with that.
