It's really not that big of a problem as it has only affected a few games. And by affected I mean having to be on two discs. Big deal.
That said, I'm sure the next Xbox will use a high capacity media format. I am willing to bet anything that it will not be digital only. I can see digital downloads becoming more important next generation, but it will still be too soon to go to a fully digital distribution model.
The 360 had a better lineup this year. At least for my tastes. Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Limbo, Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo Reach and Fable 3 is what I have already bought or will have bought by the end of this year. On the PS3 only GOW3 really appealed to me this year.

It is a fact that the 360 has more games rated 70+, 80+, and 90+ on metacritic. Deny it all you want, but that doesn't change it.

You are exactly right. People jumped the gun. It starts off in the same area we have seen before but then it goes into an outdoor wasteland area that we have never seen before. It looks really, really amazing.

Actually it isn't the same footage. It starts off the same and I think that made everybody think it was just going to be the same footage, but the second part of the footage shows them going out into the wasteland in some decaying, destroyed city. It looks amazing.
Even though it is really crappy quality this footage has got me more excited for the game than anything else I have seen. The gameplay looks really good and graphics are simply drool-worthy.
That is the stupidest leaked video I have ever seen. Half the time you are only seeing a lower sliver of the screen, and sometimes no screen at all! I guess it's better than nothing for those who are dying of curiosity about this game.

The other thing is, Microsoft don't announce all of their games years in advance the way Sony does. Yes, we know about games like Resistance 3 and The Last Guardian, but we have no idea when we will actually get to play them.

Just look at ANY ps3 game and you will see an example of extreme OVER-HYPE.
The amount of content in Halo Reach really is unrivaled in the genre.
Halo still has a better narrative than most first person shooters. People like you bad mouth it, but I still find the Halo narratives more engaging and enjoyable than in Killzone 2, COD, Resistance, Section 8, etc. Only a few FPS games like Bioshock have a better narrative than Halo.
