The majority of Xbox owners aren't going to support certain type of genres anyway though.I think Microsoft should be creating different kind of Ips but the fan base on that machine enjoys the same old stuff.
Sunset overdrive and D4 are quality titles that hardly any Xbox owners bought
Microsoft can't ruin PC gaming being as there are so many other open stores and communities on the platform
PS4 continues to be a beast without limits
Its always good when companies within the industry step up and help others in need of work
They launched a crowd funding campaign without any real direction or gameplay.I'm not surprised the team failed to meet their goals on kickstarter.most thought it would be some Kinect based game.
PC is an open platform and Microsoft won't get any support unless they embrace everything that's standard on the platform
They are going the outsource route when it comes to having exclusives made.Microsoft will keep 343/Turn 10/The Coalition around as in house first party studios..Its never good having to depend mainly on non owned studios to create your exclusive software
Bioware is just going to be nothing but a name being as huge talent are on the exit
Phil just spoke about how great the game was and all that other crap at the Xbox/Windows event and now the studio is closed
They are going to go down the outsource route and stick with Halo/Gears/Forza.That's not good in my opinion because Microsoft are gonna have to depend on studios they don't own to create exclusives for them.
Rare may be next if Sea of Thieves fails to be successful.
Microsoft does have a bad track record when it comes to keeping first party studios alive that aren't Halo/Forza/Gears based
I feel bad for all of those guys/girls whot have lost their jobs over this action.
Its the 2nd time that Microsoft have played with fans of Conkers emotions by building some limited toned down garbage
The PS3/PC/PS4 ports of the the 2013 TR were done by Nixxes and they all were pure quality
I have nothing against a 30 dollar service that allows people to play games they wouldn't have bought
Microsoft wants to make real profit from the gaming division and releasing software on Xbox & PC is smart. The investors don't care about some 'war' of plastic all they want is returns to be made or they will continue to view the division as useless/want to spin it off..I hope people understand that Phil Spencer isn't calling the shots on this new focus its coming from the top.
Microsoft shouldn't be quick to announce things without the proper details/explaining how it benefits consumers.
Microsoft needs to explain how this new effort by them offers any benefits to the consumer.. Its going to be a real challenge for them to get that message across to the average console buyer who is used to spending a few hundred on a closed box that offers them everything for a gen.
Sony weren't the ones blocking cross play between platforms in the first place.
