AMD just confirmed that new models of PS4 and Xbox are on the way along with NX
They are selling more hardware but at the risk of losing profit on each machine sold just to say they moved a little more units.The price drops aren't having a big enough impact being as the Xbox one is cheaper but still getting outsold by the competition PS4 at full price each month .

The price drops/cheap bundles aren't working.Microsoft is just taking a hit in order to bring in new buyers which isn't really working. Microsoft should just keep the Xbox One at 350 and make something off the machine / accept its stance in the market.. Nintendo kept the Wii U at a price they could benefit from in terms of profit even though the console...
I doubt Sony is going to make another traditional handheld.Sony will stick to the home consoles being as that market actually makes profit for them.
I don't see it as an insult being as people would still be able to play the same software on the reg model.There is a market for updated editions of Xbox and PS consoles.
Sony isn't going to speak on PS5 right now being as they are focused on the current gen
I think so being as better hardware and performance would be the selling point.
I really have high hopes for Scalebound and it being a huge success for Platinum in terms of quality.
I have no issues with an upgraded PS4/Xbox One being as both are 100% optional for customers.The same software could be played on the reg machine if a person doesn't want to spend extra for the updated newer models.
The Xbox One is only doing well in two areas US/UK and even there they are behind in market share.Microsoft really put themselves in a huge hole with that all in one media non sense.The price drops and former console mover like Halo aren't even helping in terms of expanding&bringing new buyers.

That's not true being as console only gamers would still have the option to purchase Gears 4 on Xbox One.
I hope SEGA decides to support consoles and PC with DC releases on the digital stores
That's one of the reasons why PS4 has been the console of choice for me
I'm happy the team is wasting no time/getting back to doing what they enjoy which is creating racers.
The gameplay looks dated along with visuals based on early leaked mp videos.
The PS4 is great for me because it offers more exclusives that are tailored to my taste.
The Dreamcast had more quality titles plus better 3rd party support compared to Wii U.The DC was a good machine which offered lots of quality experiences.Its too bad SEGA financial problems caused it to fail.

Nintendo used to create machines that offered everything from tons of exclusives-quality 3rd party support.I think the company fell off due to being stuck in the old age of gaming and not jumping into the modern era quick enough..Nintendo are now trying to play catch up to Sony&Microsoft in terms of hardware and features on console that have been standard for a very long time.
That doesn't change the fact that they are losing more profit on the hardware due to price drops and cheap bundles.the competition is doing much better being as they are selling consoles at full price plus tons of software without having to give away machines for darn near nothing.
Do you really believe Microsoft wouldn't want to be able to sell tons of hardware units at full retail along with software?
