Microsoft does have the worst PR this generation of consoles.What are the other owned new released franchises?how much have they sold.
There is nothing Microsoft can do to change the direction of Xbox One in terms of sales.They had one chance to win over the public which was back in 2013 and we all know how that went.There aren't many willing to buy a machine[Xbox One] which offers less performance over the affordable more powerful option{PS4} available.
The PS4 continues to come out on top even with Xbox having price drops and other cheap bundles
Dark Souls is awesome because it allows a person to learn from his/her mistakes.The lore/story is quality because it invites players to explore and find out things for themselves.The problem is we have too much hand holding in gaming now days.
People without a gaming PC or no intention of playing the game on that platform might as well sell the code
Xbox One is the only console without real sales numbers being released.The Wii U isn't flying off the shelves but at least Nintendo aren't scared to put out how many units were sold.
Nope,The Souls franchise is built for a certain crowd.There's enough easy and hand holding games available for others to enjoy.
I'm expecting PS4 to be well above/way past 69 million units by 2019.

The Souls franchise is created for an audience which enjoys the challenge and lore.I'm happy From isn't willing to add easy modes and other stuff just for casual appeal/more copies sold.
The developers have tried but at the end of day its Microsoft decision to create an all in one box coming into play again
I remember Cliffy dissed the PC platform just to run back to that market after he left Epic/no longer getting tons of Microsoft cash.

I'm sure Quantum Break is an awesome game for some but not everyone is going to agree being as each person taste is different.We can't be pretend reviews only matter when our favorite titles score high.

Microsoft would also struggle in the PC market being as their latest releases have been full of issues along with Win10 store lacking user features PC gamers are used too..The community would rather support Valve which has been there for them since day one while Microsoft created an awful GFWL service and then switched gears.
