Microsoft doesn't have things going well for them at the moment to be honest.They might as show off some new hardware/try to create a buzz for themselves.I still don't think its going to be enough to change the landscape of things in terms of marketshare though.

Microsoft shouldn't bother with releasing a slim down Xbox One if the rumored Scorpio does exist.
These machines are also going to have better performance in terms of fps and other areas.
The Xbox already having temp price drops to $299 and cheap bundles with tons of games couldn't even help.PS4 is the console that mostly everyone buys even though it often cost more than Xbox One.

Dead Rising isn't getting remastered
I couldn't enjoy the game on last gen due to terrible performance.I'll buy the remastered edition being as it should run more stable on current gen consoles.
I really hope people aren't upset that Remedy is doing what it needs to keep bills paid.They are an independent studio and are free to work with whom ever.

Microsoft has a tough road ahead when dealing with PC gamers after the horror of GFWL.There are tons of gamers who refuse to purchase anything from Win10 app store/believe anything coming from Microsoft when it comes to adding standard community features & not being a walled in garden.

I knew Microsoft weren't going to fund AAA software and then split the profits made with another digital service.The Win10 app store would be worthless without any exclusive software.Its already behind in terms of what PC gamers expect in terms of features..DR4 could hit Steam if Capcom worked out a deal which allows them to publish the game on PC.
I'm not surprised being as Capcom doesn't have the funds to throw towards Dead Rising.
I really don't have an issue with Sony or Microsoft giving people the option of being able to buy upgraded machines.Its not like the current models are just going to be pushed to the side and not supported anymore.
