W/e tech that MS got from kinect you can be sure they own the patents for it and have zero to worry from apple or a duplicated device regarding those specific patents. Thats just basic business 101 to secure those before investing hundreds of millions.
I think the point of apple getting that company was the minds there could create the next big thing. But you can be sure it wont be ripping off kinect.

4k games arent gunna happen this gen on consoles. Maybe not even next gen unless u get a gaming pc. So on a console your your 7-12 years away from using that. However, some movies will be in 4k resolution in the near future.
The other hugh problem with plasma is their insanely high reflective surface that if u have any light hit it, makes the whole glass one big reflective mirror u can look at yourself in while u watch tv. Obviously a big negative with that unless u watch tv/game in a pitch black basement and want mega eye strain.
Dont even bother doing that upgrade unless your also getting a 4k monitor. Wud be wasted.
Wuts with sony trying to group themselves with other systems to be better liked? Last gen the ps3/wii was the best ever. Now its ps4/pc. Cant a system just stand on its own demerits?
No way sega comes back as a console if ms bows out. They already lost all investor confidence and consumer credibility for hardware. Plus they already whored out all thier exclusives that gave them an edge in the first place.
Apple, Steam, or Google maybe, but sega's days have long since past.
You really wouldnt ever want cross platform between console and pc. Imagine the amount of glitches, bugs, and cheats youd be opening up? Plus studies show keyboard/m users having an inherent advantage over controller players.

I wont buy apple because u cant change batteries or use memory cards. id normally say the same for a controller, but ive read alot of postings about the high quality of the sony batteries so ill keep an open mind on the ds4 for my next pc controller.
On a side note, could u ever imagine buying a power tool where u couldnt change out the batteries very easily. No blue collar worker would ever accept that.
I have my doubts that you do ok fiscally from knowing even understanding the value of a products worth. I mean the tablet alone is about $150. You dont have to like the product at all, but to say it's only worth $99, is pretty naive.
