The gamepad is almost 50% of the cost of the console. Plus its part of making the wiiu unique. U really couldnt be more wrong to say the gamepad doesnt matter.

Not necessarily. Ps2 was the weakest hardware that gen and ps3 always got worse lookin and buggy multiplats until the last few years.

Many of these issues you have are specific to sli (using 2 gpu's) at once. The 690 is a built in sli card. So they may explain some of your issues.
If we're playing "spades" here, are either on the same level as a ultra settings 1080p pc or 4k? Just wanted to give u a little ego reality check.

You paint a very glass half empty perspective. Devs do not have unlimited time to do projects. So in reality the less time spent in one area (optimizing for 512mb ram) means more time spent in other areas (a.i., storyline, effects, etc).
