The 2ds is a downgrade so that really wouldnt help. You have the option of turning off 3d mode on the 3ds, so not sure of why u think a 2d might be better liked.
Maybe but mario games really have never been very complex. So I dont I think thats it. I agree with u in reference to fps or some mmo games.
Vita does a bunch of thing right like the controls and sheer amount/quality of games. The big downside is the games and proprietary memory sticks are very expensive. Plus the hardware is starting to look dated now. O and screen on the vita is ridiculouosly easy to scratch so the clear film is a huge must to get.
Idk id get one if I did more gaming on the go.

U can use your ps3 controller on any android device or they have Moga controllers. Stop whinning over lack of controllers when plenty of choices exist. Very lame and igorant excuse. They have had controllers out for tablets/phones for over 3 years now.
Consoles r better obviously, but they r not portable. Dont get this debate. Its like comparing a semi to a honda civic. 2 very different classes.
My 9 year old wont touchhis 3ds. Hes got like 15 games for it too. An even more serious crime, he wants nothing to do with console gaming (blasphamy imo). But thats all he and his friends do is Tango call each other, listen to music, watch netflix, or play those cheezy ipad games.

Vista had some bugs at first that I never witnessed but got a bad rep for it. After they were patched, it was a vast upgrade from xp for gaming if u had a mid-high end system.
