4k movies are suppose to be the next big thing I guess, but for games only a few high end pcs can pull that off.
Playing on my 60" tv puts me at a disadvantage online. I dont have any lag issues but just looking around that much real state will slow you down. For single player games its fine, but not for serious online gaming, imo (and others who came to my house to play have said the same thing).
Last gen consoles look better imo. These next gen ones are fugly, but at the end of day no big deal to me better they are there to play games on.

When I bought my 670 card the performance difference between amd was negligible. Sure amd was a bit cheaper, but what sold me on nvidia was the driver support, much less heat, and power consumption.
I wont be upgrading until nvidia releases the 800-series and plus it will give me a chance to see if amd technology ( being in both next gen consoles) will spill over to the pc side like some are saying. Then ill have to read a bunch if reviews and re-evaluate my choice.
So instead settling for maybe 1080p on certain games with a console, go 2500x1400 on a pc. I agree, dont settle. Avoid being that poppycock.

The original Xbox was alot I more powerful than ps2 and had a built in ethernet port, 4 controller slots, & a 20 gb hard drive instead of memory cards. Just sayin....
How do you personally know nvidia "lost"? Maybe they opted out because the profit margin was way too low.

You can use any controller on a pc. Even xbox and playstation controllers. The steam controller is just another option to try out.
Xbox uses directx and cant play old pc games that werent licensed for it either. So I dont see the point your making.
Amd on the ps4 isnt using directx. Think it will be fine. You really didnt think a billion dollar plus company like Steam didnt think of this already?
Alot more OS is a bad thing. U want as few as possible to avoid fractioning and having a nightmare slew of glitches and bugs.
I couldnt disagree more. Steam OS will focus primarily on gaming. Unlike win8, plus alot of people dislike the win8 interface and tiles. At the very least, Steam cud light a fire under ms to give us a better os in windows 9.
Android have had the option for physical controllers for well over 2 years now. Moga controllers is my fav and the one I use. Also the most recent high end android devices and that new nvidia shield device using the terga 4 chip are a good amount faster than the vita.
Thats because alot of other countries just give you a swift and cheap death penalty like Iin china and russia.
