The problem is theres nothing to trust. Until u see an official release from MS or Nintendo, its all rumors and speculation.

Well theres only been 3 generations playstations, so historically leaving out 1 of 3 systems isnt really nit picking, imo.

Im kind of undecided if I want to see a new ps/xbox. On the one hand, I def want shinnier graphics and smarter ai. On the other, the longer out the release date is, the more advanced hardware they will put inside.

Lol see how he stealth left out the xbox was more powerful than the ps2. And dont say its because the xbox was released a year after the ps2 because that same line could be used in reverse for the ps3 being released a year after the 360.

Maybe nintendo should just take it in stride. I mean they did copy the idea to make a console in the very first place from the Atari 2600 or Colleco Vision or w/e was around before them. Now nintendo is making a push for online play long after sony/ms have had success with it.
Dont get me wrong I think patents should be valid for a few years, but then be open for anyone to copy or modify.
Thats because sarcasm usual doesnt successfully translate over in forums. Probably because sarcasm is a much more easily understand spoken concept where non-verbal ques like facial expressions and tone of voice help convey alot of the message.
Unless your HP is a gaming laptop with a deticated graphics card, its still not more powerful than ps3/360. Seriously, ive had a few of these internet surfers and regardless of the processors getting faster+more ram, the integrated graphics just dont cut it for demanding games.
Actually you guys information isnt accurate here. I bought Warcraft and Rift at launch for $59 (exact same Star Wars).
Stars is $59 for the reg edition and $79 for a collector's edition.

Considering its well known in the news to be one of the most expensive games ever made (some due to paying off Lucas for the Star Wars licensing), Im not sure how you decided it was too expensive of a game to begin with. Odd statement.

Gimme prettier pixels and slightly tweek each controller to perfection. MS=d-pad, Sony=triggers. Dont want motion controlling gimics or wands with girlie light bulbs on the ends. Is this too much to ask of the dev teams of each system to understand?

Not really comparing apples to apples. The iphone design has been out for several years now and is very subsidized by cell phone companies and customers signing 2 year contracts. Also the iphone doesnt have mechanical buttons and thumbsticks and it only a 3.5" screen.
One of the main problems with the expected advanced HD graphics from Nintendo is that they want day 1 profits along with an estimated $125 controller. MS/Sony subsidize their consoles for the first several years and your going to get alot more hardware with that happening.
But nintendo doesnt need to focus on the lastest HD, to be fun. So we'll see how that plays out. All exciting news if your a gamer.
The points make for good troll bait, so ms should keep them just for the humor value in that. Especially for the ones who say I can't figure out the conversation ratio or the classic here I might have $1-2 dollars left unspent.
