You realize you can unplug Kinect from your usb port right? And there are options to block outgoing video and pictures.

Thats a horrible idea. 680 gunna drop in price by alot in next 1-2 years. You dont need a gpu backup unless u have a severe gaming addition that will induce siesures before u drive about 10-15 min away to nearest electronics store (or craigs list) to get a replacement.

Im kind of bummed about how far behind the wiiu will be with the incoming slew of ps4/720 game visuals, but on the other hand, I do enjoy playing mario games with my wife & kids.
