Heck there's people users ps3 controllers on android phones (but that takes more work to do, not plug & play like console and pc).

Well said. However, there's are a lot of things to be excited for: The controllers look great, x86, and there is a definitely a step up from current gen consoles.
In terms of hardware, you do realize (though not officially announced by X1) Ps4 and X1 will be almost the same right? From the looks of it at this point, Ps4 will seem to have a slight edge. WiiU has more in common with the ps3 and 360 speeds.
If you really wanna talk horrors, look at the gap between gaming pc's of today compared with 6 months from now when these consoles release.
