Yes you can play without internet access obviously. Shield has full access to the android game market. Such an odd misunderstood rumor.
You can stream games thru wifi to your tv or pc, its just an optional feature, not a requirement.

I do all that on my 1080p pc, never going over 4gb ram, with windows using way more ram than dedicated console OS.
So tell again how great consoles are by using 8gb, when my pc doesn't ever go over 4gb?
My cable internet has never gone down. Had to reset the modem once or twice. But god forbid it goes down that 1 time in 5 years, I think I could manager to go outside for a few hours and not start convulsing from extreme withdrawels.

Come on man, you put out a lot of b.s. there and ya know ya did. It's not all great and overwhelming because a lot of hardcore gamers including myself are not into Kinect and a slower cpu/gpu than the ps4 (if true).
However for the xbox, you have to like the controller, bluray, x86, and next gen graphics. You really didn't find 1 good thing out of that?

Similar to intel over amd cpu's. Nvidia's gpu's also outperform amd, but you do pay more for that.
Realistically, Japan is very racist when it comes to buying products. They only buy from companies that are Japanese, so it wouldn't ever matter what the xbox offered them. Ironically they will gladly export all their products.

The main reason its good for gamers is x86, lots of ram, and directx11 standards.
U realize the thing has full access to the android market, so it will be able to play any 1 of 100 emulators on it.

And also the proprietary memory cards in the vita was a horrible choice. So unlike the ps3 where u can shove anything you want in it, usb this or that and any ol hard drive will due.
