Miles is not fully black but, I do think there is credence in what you suggest. Throughout comic history whenever a super-heroe was ever race swapped (Captain America, Green Lantern, Hulk) they never became as popular as the original. Whether that's due to racism or fans aversion to change is speculative.
You can't really lay the lack of the Raimi suit at Insomniac's feet. If you can tell anything from the game it's that it was made with a love for all things Spider-man, so I believe if it was up to them it would have been there from the start. I doubt they're trolling the whole fandom by not releasing the most requested suit. The most likely culprit is SONY preventing it from being added because they want to promote whatever Spider-man projects they're currently working on...

This was the first PS2 game I bought (and still have). I miss that weird quirky lost-in-translation awkwardness of early Capcom PS1-PS2 games. I can't wait to experience it again... It's been awhile.

This would have been a thing of beauty to an old school MK fan like myself. Unfortunately a project like this will never see the light of day in today's gaming industry. Not when they can nickel & dime you for DLC such as classic costumes & stages in every new MK that comes out (As they surely will do with MK 11). For the love of all that is holy patch out the annoying putting away of weapons while on horseback! Nothing is more irritating than sneaking up on whatever animal/enemy your after only to find out a pistol is all you have. I might be missing something but I can see no purpose for this.

Gears, while not wholly original was well put together. Every game he's done since has just been bandwagon hopping & chasing current trends.
