Who better than the originators to revive the corpse (pun intended) of "Survival Horror''.

Yeah I don't understand the fugliness of the females in MK11, especially coming off Injustice 2 which had some of the best facial modeling and animation in gaming. I can't help but feel it was intentional, yikes Cassie looks older than Sonya and they both look like they had a full bowl of ''GOD DAMN'' for breakfast . LOL

The way gaming and gamers are nowadays (more disposable income), you could have a collector's edition with nothing more than a variant cover and a pat on the back with a $200+ price tag and it would sell out.

40 myself and I don't see a time when I'll ever outgrow gaming but, I do fear a time when the gaming industry might outgrow me. A gaming future full of micro-transactions, day 1 broken games that require almost a year to finish via patches, and on top of all that the slow death ( Murder) of physical media has me stockpiling single-player games from this gen and several previous one's like a doomsday cult. Honestly my backlog is probably above 150 counting unplayed PS2,PS3,PS4,360 ...

Can Kronika use her time abilities to take me 1 year into the future so I can purchase the Komplete Edition of this game?

The winner gets a bucket of "Original Recipe", WINNER WINNER - CHICKEN DINNER! :)

Booo no Serious Sam II? IMO it's much better than 3 and should have been included, Oh well no reason to double-dip I'll stick with my 360 copy.

Ha, I remember being sucked in by that issue. It was the one that finally broke me from taking anything seriously in an April issue, but it was convincing. I think I remember another about Shen Long being in SSF2.

Not that I buy collector's editions very often, but even if I wanted this the first deal breaker would have been the price. A close second would be that EVEN for that high price you don't even get the season pass!?! NOPE.

Co-op is death to any ''Survival Horror'' game, It instantly cuts tension and fear if you have another player with you. Look no further than RE5 and RE6, Co-op turned them into action games.

I look forward to playing them again after they lower that joke of a price.

Well now you tell me! All these years I've been spreading mine in a sock. :)

Yeah but the little man can still come out on top against big corporations. I sued quite successfully the manufacturer of a defective sex swing (500lb weight limit MY ASS!). I may have been drunk but there's NO way that chick was a pound over 400! ;)

(Pulls pin and throws) Well if you're gonna be on the subject of horror who better to ask than someone who is constantly in ''Fear for their life'' - Cops. (Dives out!) I kid, I kid. ;) P.S. I love paramedics though, you're good people.

"'Story'' as in that intro cutscene the original had? That's about all story I remember, and I don't expect this one to have much more. What they say is ''look it has the Tom Clancy license slapped on it'' therefor it MUST have an engrossing story, right? right? It has a more pleasant ring to it than "'please feed the micro-transaction beast or the higher-ups won't be able to afford that second yacht or a diamond encrusted thong''....

I loved the first one, great origin story. IMO the second's story was uninspired & boring, it was tough to stay invested after about 2/3 done. I'm not gonna lie I haven't played the 3rd yet (it's in my backlog), but I'm hoping it has a better story than the 2nd.

It shouldn't have much of a problem outselling the original considering gaming itself has grown considerably in the last 20 years. You have the old school loyal fanbase that's been there since the beginning (like myself). You have casual newcomers that have never played the original and are intrigued. You also have the trend gamers (Hipsters?) that just wanna play that new game everyone's talking about around the water-cooler (probably won't finish). You know what category you...

True, I bought this game during a sale without doing my homework. I thought it looked like a horror/mystery, boy was I wrong.

It has to be Dark Souls or games like like it. Being reamed over and over without lube, yet people praise it. I tried it and it was miserable, the grind/difficulty and cheap deaths reminded me of 80's arcade games like Ghosts N Goblins. That kind of artificial difficulty wasn't fun then and it isn't now, at least coin-ops had an excuse (more quarters). I await the 'git gud' and 'scrub' comments ;)
