I'll have one of these day one but I'll definitely be tracking down some bat-style sticks if it comes with ball-top sticks.
I'll never turn down a new MK but, I still hold out hope that a MK HD remaster of the first three games will rise from the dead in some form. I just wanna play some old school digitized goodness with a fresh coat of paint. I miss the classic simple style of the first two, back before everything became over complicated.
Hey there's nothing wrong with more content. You could release it as a stand alone side story, I mean the engine is complete so there is most of the work done. It's my belief that this is kinda what they did with GOW: Ascension, they already had GOW 3's engine complete so why waste it?
I agree, single-player games haven't gone anywhere and aren't anytime soon. They have declined in popularity with younger gamers though, they have a herd-like mentality. I don't mean that in a negative way it's just that they want to do whatever their friends are doing, and with most gamers nowadays that's MP. I have tried to pass my love for SP on to my son but, he is literally unable to get drawn into a story because he cannot turn off voice chat with his friends. You ca...
I hope this game has an actual story, not a 3-5 hour romp to justify calling it a game. When in actuality all it will be is a loosely thrown together narrative built around a grindy lootbox/micro-transaction filled sh!tshow (looking at you Destiny). It is good to see the resurgence of demos though, try before you buy is never a bad thing for gamers.
Statistics prove that ''The best place to play'' is a McDonald's playground... FACT! /s
WTH... A mobile game, am I taking crazy pills?
They could have at least used some sort of checkckboard rendering to reach a faux 4k. To my knowledge this technique is not overly resource heavy.
Pureplaystation.com says it will be 44.99 of whatever currency is their native. Not sure what that is in US.
IMO this was a missed opportunity to bring all the previous Hitman games up to date and in one convenient package. I love Blood Money and to a lesser extent Absolution, but this reeks of a ''These were the easiest to port'' cash grab. I'll wait for a price drop because this is worth $30 at most.
This story took me on an emotional rollercoaster.
My gripe is FORCED internet connection in games that are considered 'Single-Player' which is becoming more common. It's the gaming equivalent of taxes, I'm sure it has it's purposes and someone is benefiting from it but that doesn't mean I have to like it. If they are making an MMO game then fine, but if that's the case why call it BGAE2 unless they are A: Vastly out of touch with what fans of the original want in a sequel. or B: Just shamelessly trying to ca...
On the subject of the Raimi suit certain things were handled badly on both sides, IMO Insomniac waited just a wee bit too long to release THE most requested suit in the game. Now that in NO way excuses how far some people took their (clears throat) ''Passion'' for the Raimi suit, I mean come on...death threats? All this over some silver webbing?
At this point they'll be a real zombie apocalypse before this game is finished.
No their first is how the developers refuse to put that past-it's-prime engine out of it's misery. That bug ridden unoptimised turd needs a bullet to the head.
Dammit, nostalgia boner confirmed dead! In a couple of years you won't be able to play ANY game without an ethernet cable firmly shoved up your ass, even if it's titled ''Awesome Single-Player 2020''. This is already irritating with what IO has done to the Hitman series.
Save us "mindless buy anything horde"!
As much as I don't wanna believe they'd do something as stupid as kill off Joel, these are weird times we live in. With the SJW/NPC nuts seemingly running the asylum you never know (strong men are toxic ya know) /s. That video ND released only has one mention of him, I have a sinking feeling they're gonna "Mentor Death" him to push Ellie into some kind of revenge plot. I'd be lying if I said I was as excited about TLOU2 as I once was, sorry I do like both characters ...
It may not be a remake but the game is 99% CG cutscenes & pre-rendered backgrounds, there isn't much that can be done with what's on-hand. They could have however checked the archives for some higher resolution textures for the 3D models (or made from scratch), there aren't that many. That being said this is Capcom of today not Capcom of yesteryear so a simple upscale was expected.
I'm a big supporter of demos, but when you really think about it this demo is pointless. The time limit is irritating and a dick move on Capcom's part, not to mention the fact that it's only 2 weeks out from release. If you're gonna put out a demo why wait this long? It should have been out at E3, the demo's been finished since then. You're not gonna grab any last minute customers this way because your core audience has known about this game since it was announced, and...
