Yeah I would love to see this happen (BIG FAN). The Fatal Frame games were scary enough to make me play them only during the day LOL. I have not played anything near as scary since then.
Listen up whoever owns the rights, release a HD Trilogy and you have my money....release a Fatal Frame 1-3 + a localized version of Fatal Frame 4 and you can have a blank check!
Where is the info on the Splinter Cell HD Trilogy? It's due to release Mar 22 but we still havn't heard what is included or seen a "Real" screenshot. This has me worried I was really looking forward to it :(
I'm only guessing here but it seems like some sort of hybrid??? (PS2 engine with some bells & whistles) There choice of shots is questionable cuz I own all PS2,XBOX and have played PC versions and I can't clearly identify it as any. Hmmmm.... The plot thickens.
Loving the game but, I do agree that it was overly dark in areas (Unitology Church comes to mind). All those candles and it's still this dark?
I will buy it day 1 no doubt...I hope it has an option for Original\Twin Snakes because I love the PS1 version but never got to play Twin Snakes. Imagine if they went all out on this one with MG1,MG2,MGS1\TWIN,MGS2,MGS3 plus full soundtracks for each and behind the scenes videos. Well I can dream (Drool).
IMO RE6 would be a bad idea. They should start over from square one with a "Reboot" of the series (Something dark & gritty) while the name is still salvageable, I mean

I said it before and I'll say it again "Survival Horror" or other types of scary games will never come back as strong as it once was. These days developers think every game must have some sort of multi-player or online element and horror games don't tend to mix well with co-op or tacked-on multi-player.

Ahhh.....Dino Crisis, good times. I still have part 1 & 2 but never got to play 3 (I hear I didn't miss much). Those were the days when Capcom still kinda cared about what their fans wanted, Not like they are today (All about how much can we take out of a game and milk it for DLC).

Ha! at least you get 3 saves...way back in the day when I first got my PS1 and the original Resident Evil I couldn't afford a memory card, so I would play for hours just to be decapitated by one of those green frog dudes with claws. GRRR frustrating but it made me a better player. LOL
Hardcore might not be so bad if you can use upgraded weapons from a previous play through. If not sheeesh 3 saves is a low blow!

I really wanted to hate Prince of Persia, mainly because of Jake Gyllenhaal but after seeing it I enjoyed it. It's head and shoulders above other videogame movies. (Nowhere near as bad as Hitman) OOOHHHH SHUDDER!
When it's done right and doesn't affect the single-player experience it can be great. (Like Gears, Halos & Uncharted 2) But, sometimes it's shoe-horned into games that clearly don't need it (Bioshock 2 & Dead Space 2) now I can't speak for Dead Space 2 yet but the time they wasted putting tacked-on MP in Bioshock 2 could have went into making the SP campaign more than just a re-tread.
