I will admit after going through several console generations, this gen has been my least favorite of all. One would think that with all that can be done with consoles these days that I should be be having the time of my life (game-wise) but I'm not. I have thought about why that is and come up with several possibilities.

I'm still on the fence as to if I'm gonna pick this up or not. The game just came out and their already talking about DLC (Sure to be one of many)...I might just wait for the inevitable "Complete" game that will most likely be released within a year (M.K. Komplete or whatever it will be called).

I would pay good money for a Tony Hawk HD Collection done right (high res textures ect.). Better yet how about one game incorporating all stages from the first couple of games into one cohesive world.

I don't understand how Capcom can so blatantly ignore most of their fanbase pleading for a good ol' fashioned scary Resident Evil game? (WITH ZOMBIES!) I just don't get the reasoning behind some of the decisions their making lately with the franchise. Right about now I just want a Resident Evil game that is
(A:) Genuinely scary
(B:) Has a good story
(C:) Actually has some classic puzzle element
(D:) Single player NOT "Co-op" or ...
Enslaved was alright but, nothing special. BG&E on the other hand was amazing and I really felt a connection\fondness for the characters. Any problems I had with Enslaved were because of the glitchy Unreal engine (or NT's use of it). IMO Unreal as an engine has not truly enhanced or benefited any game this gen that used it (outside the few made by Epic)! Multi-platform devs are too cheap or lazy to create their own engines. I would much rather see some info on the Splinter Cell HD collection that's about to be released! Has nobody seen this game in motion yet? You would think some gaming site would have been sent a preview copy by now. The media black-out on a game this close to release is questionable.

Hmmmm......Hardware sales are down well, that happens from time to time (Economy and all). As for software sales I'm surprised their not down further than that! I can't remember the last time I purchased a full price game and felt like I got my moneys worth. IMO no game should cost above $30-$40 nowadays since all your getting is half a game followed up by "We just happened to have this laying around on day 1 DLC".
I highly dought that this would be a "Survival Horror" game if it's rated G. IMO the words online & horror should never be spoke in the same sentence!
