I think alot of these stereotypes are dying off due to games becoming more mainstream and with the younger generation growing up (late teen's, early 20's) everyone will have grown up having played games like Halo, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, and even the Mario games. It will become apart of mainstream culture like movies and music.
Plus, if I have a child I would know how the ratings system works since I grew up with it.
Yeah pretty much, I guess they could be saying that disclaimer for all home video game consoles now that their all optical media.
@3.16
Not at just this article, but just all the topics he trolls or decides to give his input. Great entertainment ensues :)
edit: typo
Hopefully they make their way up to Canada. I like this option better than using a credit card.
Good article, never got into project abraham but I was interested to know that these experiements dated back to a year before R1 and how the vaccine sets up the second Resistance(I hope they give Resistance 2 a name like Resistance:Fall of Man)
Man toughNAME, I applaud you for how well you can get under peoples skin with this fanboy stuff. Not sarcastic or anything, but I love reading your posts and following posts for a laugh.
Keep on trucking.
I challenge this review when he said "...it is also just about the only licensed NFL game in town". It is the only licensed NFL game/series out now since that EA/NFL deal.( I don't believe they have made an NFL street game on current generation consoles)
If you get alot of the trophies on normal or easy mode, then go and play hard/crushing mode would you have to collect all of the trophies again on the harder difficulties?
S**ty deal for 360 owners.
Wasn't God of War: Chains of Olympus rated M?
This isn't news but... Oh God! turn that thing off!
Are you talking about that chicago shotgun scene? I'm pretty sure that the grenade was the secondary fire of the shotgun. The Carabine in R1 had the 40mm grenade launcher.
Everyone should stop buying EA games if they hate EA. That means toughing it out without Madden, Burnout (yes I know crietion(sp) made the game, but EA published it.), Rock Band, any other game made/published by EA.
I've stopped buying, will you?
This guy mentions that there has been little multiplayer info released when we all heard about the class system, valor points, multiple objectives in matches, etc...
I see its more of a running list, so people can check if a certain game has trophy support in one place without having to jump from article to article to find out.
Great game > Installs
I wish this wouldn't happen, but it seems like its inevitable now.
Hopefully Rockstar can break away from Take 2, same as the developers of the Bioshock franchise (even though that last one has a snowball's chance in hell since they are all 2K studios)
Or EA stops screwing around and makes some great games again.
Do alot of people play postal? I've heard of it and it seems that it has a strictly cult following.
I'm okay with Valve developing for the PC/360, its better than complaining about the coding processes with another console but yet releasing a half-baked port on it. Valve would face a lot less criticism just excluding other consoles imo.
I hope the next GTA game is an exclusive to a console 360 or ps3 (not gonna lie, I'd hope for a ps3 one since I own one =)) Because it seems too big and costly of a game to multiplatform if the people want a San Andreas-like GTA installment. Go with one console and make it a timed exclusive.
