If the disc spins less/none at all then I would do it if I owned a 360 that had a HDD.
I agree, its really easy to do research (google search) new games and see if you like the looks of them.
There is also the option of renting the game before christmas. Then they can decide if they will be crossing or putting the game on their christmas list.
I'm gonna be buying the PS3, but if you absolutely-have-the-best-biosh ock-experience-or-you-will-die - of-cutting-yourself-and-bleedi n g-to-death then play it on the PC or 360.

Gonna wait for some reviews to come in, but from the previews on websites like IGN it is very weird that the demo is so poorly recieved. I downloaded it yesterday and eventhough I have a small SDTV I still enjoyed it (probably also the reason I wasn't worried about the pixels/textures of the game)

I wish they would bundle that mic that is with Socom with R2,I can see alot of people buying mics for the co-op aspect of the game.
If I ever got my connection working on my PS3, this would be the mic I would use.
I do agree that Playstation does have a wide variety of games that bring in the audience and the previous playstations they haven't relied on one game/franchise to sell consoles but I'm talking about success this holiday season. I think the PS3's success hinges on LittleBigPlanet. If LBP isn't a critical and commercial success then it will really hurt the PS3's holiday sales.

I can agree with them on the lack of online modes compared to the PSP versions, but I didn't think people would expect an entirely new WipEout game (for $20). The only reason I didn't love Pure on the PSP was that your neck would hurt after playing a couple hours on the PSP, and seeing as the PS3 runs off of a tv it should be a much better experience.
Personally, I don't think Resistance is going to be a dual-layered Blu-Ray game (50 GB) but I wouldn't be suprised if it's 9 GB's and up.
Anyone else thinks Hale's voice sounds different from the first Resistance or is it because he's talking more in R2?
