Hmmm, very interesting...
If Sony makes another handheld they better include a second analog nub.
Ugh, it would be nice if the media drop stuff like "Mario Killer", "Halo Killer" and "Gears of War Killer" since no game is going to ultimately "kill" another game. Somehow though I think this will only worsen as time goes on.
I got this as a present from a friend for Christmas, and after pairing the headset directly to the PS3 it's perfect. I love the mute button layout (where it is, how big it is, etc.)and the charging cradle that comes with it. I highly recommend the headset.
If you read the paragraph on why they think the PS3 is overhyped, they seem to judge it more on the actions of the few that bought it off of ebay for 2 grand and not exactly the system.
Just the stunt runs where you need to get 500 000 points in 45 seconds are where I could see the restart button helping. Also, I just got my Elite license last night so it doesn't really help me.
Don't wanna get too hyped about the game, but I'll say its looking impressive.
I would really like to see what Insomniac could do if they had a three year development time for Resistance.
Seems like the story could have benefitted from the 3rd person narrative. Personally I liked it in the first Resistance, hopefully it can make a comeback in the third one.
Yeah, hopefully this game can be a building block on rejuvenating the Sonic series.
ha, how many hours til he silent edits it?
^ I agree, very honest review. I had a chuckle at one of the cons he had posted at the end of his review, getting tagged by a bullseye.
This game seems like you either love it or hate it, luckily I loved the first one and hopefully this will be a present under my evergreen tree in December.
Definately a solid rent if you like arcade/offroad racers.
Hahaha, yeah that happened to me. I actually logged something close to 70+ hours (to get 100%, of course) but I'm a trooper and I'll start it after I get all the offline trophies for Burnout and play the crap out of Bioshock (thank god has no online multiplayer)
I just lol'd, bubbles.
"why did GTAIV suck so bad compared to the PS2 GTA's?"
The reason was that everyone expected GTA IV to be San Andreas plus more, and with all the perfect and high review scores people hyped it as San Andreas 2 when it clearly wasn't. If people paid attention to the previews before the game, you could tell that the game wasn't going to be as feature rich as San Andreas and it was gonna be more like GTA III in terms of features and such.
Also, people comp...
Awesome, I'll start this after I get the Burnout trophies.
I thought the video review for Motorstorm PR was a way more accurate depiction of the game, instead of the number at the end of the review. Also, the IGN UK review for the game is 8.8.
I agree, but still I feel like I can't miss out it though.
I wish I would see some ads of this and other Sony exclusives this holiday. No one is gonna buy a game if they don't hear about it.
Not to go offtopic, but wasn't Socom: Confrontation released today? I haven't seen a review all day on it.
By the sounds of it, it's the systems limitations more than anything that are the flaws with the game(lack of a second analog nub for aiming) just from some reviews I've read.
