in the end, the only people to really win in this case, will be the lawyers.
but the patent only seems to apply to the xbox S.
maybe the orignial 360 didn't have whatever this patent suit is about.
i thought it was moderately funny.
yeah, it's good to have her back in the role created specifically for her.
expecting to be able to play the game you paid for is some inflated sense of entitlement?
yeah right.
so they'll fix the problem, but what about next time when the servers go down.
and people lose the game they paid for.
screw you matt sainsbury.
i agree absolutely, this isn't like rating mass effect 3 down because you didn't like the ending.
this is a game that was rendered totally unplayable.
and i don't mean it played badly, i mean it would not run at all.
when that happens because of something the developers decided to do with the game then too damn right it should get a zero.
all cool videos.
shoulda made it six and added the Sleeping Dogs trailer though.
even if there is a legitimate reason, they didn't warn people that a major feature would be disabled for non hdtv owners.
the thing is, by all accounts, there wasn't.
this would seem to indicate that was in fact the case.
http://www.kotaku.com.au/20...
of course, i just checked, and they've added a line at the end about needing an hdtv.
but if they think that covers them for buyers who bought before they changed it, they...
there was no warning that splitscreen would only work with a hdtv before the game was bought, like on their storefront.
legally i think ms are on shaky ground denying people a refund.
let me guess it's on the disc, to save hard drive space of course, and you can play it for a small, large, extra fee.
right?
i've seen some people create absolutely massive creations in the pc game.
never underestimate the scale of what people will build in Minecraft. ^_^
anyway.
i expect this will be addressed in a future update.
not to have a go at the writer, but there are a few flaws in the argument.
firstly, Blizzard have created a few console games, not recently, true, but Diablo 3 would not be their first console game.
i think you underestimate how bated the always on thing is with console gamers, as much as pc players hate it, it's even more hated on console, so far capcom have been the only company that's been a big enough dick to pull that stunt.
and ...
i reckon they've been making it all this time, they're just really, REALLY late, this is valve after all.
they do make bloody good games, but i don't think they've ever come within a year of a deadline on any in house project.
^_^
you'll see halo on ps3 before you see that. o_O
that's Lucy.
created by Steve Grand.
he attempted to create some sort of artificial intelligence, by understanding what it does and .
he chose an ape because it would be simpler.
there's a book about how he built her and all his research into how the brain works and how he can simulate it, concentrating more in doing what it does in ways that work for computers rather than simply mimicking the brain.
it's a very interesting...
jiminy jillickers!
^_^
Wadaisy and Wapeach then? o_O
silent hill, as a twin stick shooter?
just no.
it may even be a good game, but no way is it silent hill.
it has about as much to do with silent hill as scott ciencin's comics do, they also featured some magic book and no connection to silent hill other than the name, not to mention being barely coherent as a story without even trying figure out how they fit in with everything else in silent hill.
what does this game mean ...
i got a distinct halo vibe from that.
it's a shame it got cancelled, it could have been good.
but my inner geek can't let this go.
they went out through an incoming wormhole.
it doesn't work like that, wormholes are one way.
except for radio waves conveniently.
they'd have to tell them to shut down from the other end and then they dial out.
