the guy's a dick and half the time he's talking out his arse, and the other half he's spouting some bull about how the industry should try and wring even more money out of its customers and why we should be thankful to them for doing it.

well the campaign mode anyway, well, once, just to see the story, such as it is, and then probably never again. ^_^
don't forget, these publishers need us more than we need them.
we can always find something similar from a more worthy publisher, but if they drive away their customers, they're screwed.
there's no game in existence that i would die if i never played.
and of all the things i'm missing out on in my life, a game from a publisher that sees me as an exploitable resource is not something that will keep me up at nights.

i'm not sure i like the idea of being rushed through the assassinations, stalking your target, studying the guards patrols and then waiting for the perfect time to strike is how i'd prefer to play it.
as a separate mode though it could be fun for some, probably not me though.
but then i won't be playing multiplayer anyway.

i always thought that was weird the way the joypads connected on the 3do, i guess that was their way of passing the cost of the controller ports on to the consumers.

i'm sure some of the previous GTAs let you switch to a first person, or in car at least, view when driving.
so long as it was only ever an option, and they didn't design it around the first person mode so third person play isn't lumbered with the usual issues that creates, then i would not be opposed to it.

not when i buy them they're not, i get them for a lot less than what they cost new, because i buy a lot of older games, games that are long past their profitable phase.
get rid of preowned and all those games would be sitting gathering dust, never getting played.
sell them on and it puts money back into the industry, and i don't care what propaganda the industry puts out they do benefit, ...

i actually wanted a 3do, never did manage to get one, in fact i don't think i've ever actually seen one in real life.
i live in the uk and they were extremely rare here.
that's great, if you're making an mmo or multiplayer only game, but a single player game should be playable offline.
but then as part of ea it's no surprise they believe they should keep most of the games we buy off them.
all we get for our money is a little bit of code that connects to their server.
