i don't care when they made the right choice, i just care that they made it.
i just hope the PS4 is a huge success and shows that respecting the customer is the best way of being successful.
i'll be doing my bit by buying one.
it's a shame, but at least you get a whole load of content with that sub.
and frankly, compared to what ms are doing with the x1, it's not so bad.
what about carpetbagging? ^_^
you're a fan of the witcher series?
i never would have guessed. ^_^
i hope i can play this one without the motion sickness, the original was a great game, but i can't play it for long without wanting to throw up.
not blaming the game, it's just some games have that effect on me.
funny how they attacked the ps3 price for being £425 back when the world economy was much healthier.
now they launch at 429 when we're still feeling the effects of a worldwide recession?
all in one?
yeah one box, plus the kinect, plus your cable/satellite box.
can ms not count?
dang, looks like i missed it.
it's not the best of the Fable games, but it's still a decent game, and for free i'd definitely have downloaded it.
the demo was freakin awesome, getting this as soon as possible.
xbox one?
success?
face it, you could have gods own internet service, and it won't mean diddly squat once they turn the servers off, and they will.
i can play atari 2600 games from nearly 40 years ago, i bet you won't be able to play x1 games in forty years..
if you can play them a decade after launch i'll be surprised.
frak yeah i'd boycott the PS4 if it had this crap.
but so far, from what sony have said, it doesn't seem like it does.
but if it does, the same applies.
you're proud to buy a machine that violates your rights?
that means your purchases are never yours and will always be dependant on an ms server, so when they're done with the machine they'll switch them off and all your games will be taken from you?
i say pride isn't what you should be feeling
what you can do with games on the x1: pay for them.
what you can't do with games on the x1: own them.
those are the bullets points you really need to know.
that's what i mean, it seems like he knew as much as most people did, which was very little.
for Konami and Kojima to not even inform him themselves showed a lack of respect.
after a 15 year working relationship, i think he deserves better than that.
i'm not scared of ms or the x1.
the fact that people are defending these companies over them trying to take away the legal rights of their customers fucking terrifies me.
is the Stockholm that deep rooted in some people that they will actually defend this crap.
it's not change in and of itself that frightens people, it's change that takes away their rights that they won't accept.
as for the whole, "but sony mig...
i had a CDI back in the day.
incredibly underpowered for games, but some stuff was good, great for video cds.
there were a few decent games, not great games, but decent.
like Lords of the Rising Sun, 7th Guest and the golf game i forget the name of.
i don't know first hand how awful the zelda games were because i never played them, but i believe people when they say how awful they were.
i've actually ...
this some new definition of the word clever i was previously unaware of?
it's irritating every consumer who cares about their rights.
many are disappointed in the tv focus, but it's the DRM bullshit and the anti preowned stuff that's pissing off most people.
and on the tv stuff.
you're still going to need another box, either a cable of satellite box.
the xbox one doesn't actually provide you with those tv s...
i'm disappointed, sure, but i think "a slap in the face" is a bit overdramatic.
who knows, he could be amazing in the role.
if Kojima thinks recasting is the best thing for the game, that's his choice, when i make a game i can choose the voice actors.
but his game, his choice.
even if i disagree with it.
i will say however, that it doesn't seem like Hayter was treated with much respect over this....
i pretty much expected that, if they don't say it's exclusive, then it's not.
neither side would waste an opportunity to point out if you could only get the game on their machine.
