in a follow up statement, he said "i've also got this bridge for sale".
^_^
Gho5t, you seem to have got the wrong end of the stick here.
you know, these people aren't complaining about the military.
i'm sure they're proud to serve.
the issue they have is with ms and the x1, not with whatever branch of the armed forces they joined.
different people have different ways to relax after what i imagine is a very stressful job.
if they buy an xbox to unwind when they're off duty, they expect to be able t...
well, the only game that showed actual graphics was COD wasn't it?
not actual gameplay, but still, what the machine could actually produce in real time as opposed to all the other stuff that was prerendered.
aww, i only have a 3rd gen Touch. :(
hopefully the developers will create an Android version, because i like the look of it.
i really hope this is one of those blue sky thinking patents that never gets used.
the thing is, i have little trouble believing ms would actually implement something like that.
mint sauce.
MINT SAUCE.
PS4 to be top seler over Xbox One?

going by that reveal, the only place they're committed to is the US.
with no self publishing for indies, this is going to be happening more and more.
i thought the whole XNA and indie channel was a great move on ms part, but they seem to have completely changed their attitudes to indie in the last year or so.
and now sony's machines are seen as indie friendly.
well, we'll find out by launch.
just don't buy day one is my recommendation.
marketing bullplop that will mean nothing in the end.
don't get me wrong, i'm hugely excited for the Halo tv series, i just bought Halo Legends on Bluray the other day.
but this isn't going to make me change the way i think about tv.
other than, yay, there's going to be a Halo series, which is something new. ^_^
i think we learned a good way not to announce a games console.
i know one thing i'll never call it.
mine.
not if that preowned lockout comes to pass.
with x1, you can watch tv, on your tv. ^_^
because all that tv stuff they showed, which was most of the presentation, will only be available in the us, at least at the start, and who knows how long it will take them to get it out in other countries.
it's funny, i used to be able to play my game wherever i went through a much simpler method.
taking the bloody disc with me.
yeah, accents could be a problem, didn't it take them months to enable voice recognition for australian kinects?
my mistake, i just checked, it was like a year before they added voice support for kinect in australia.
preaching to the converted here Joe.
i'm with you 100%
and you know, even if i did care about all the tv stuff.
it's only gonna be available in the us, so it'd be no fraking use for me here in the uk anyway.
so with virtually no games, the X1 is basically useless outside the US.
well, considering all the options and carefully weighing all the fact, my careful analysis has led me to the come to the considered decision that i will in all likelihood decline to acquire the recently announced entertainment machine, that bears the moniker, Xbox One.
in conclusion.
AWW HELL NO.
^_^
other industries have their own laws and watchdogs to monitor and punish companies who promote their products in a misleading way.
there don't seem to be any similar laws or bodies monitoring gaming.
i know there has to be a bit more flexibility in an artistic medium like gaming, but deliberately misleading materials like those ACM demos go beyond the scope of artistic expression.
these publishers never seem to be held accountable for the...
