looks interesting.
for me, PS4 is still the console of choice next gen.
but at least the x1 is an option now.
it's pretty low on the list of things i want to spend money on, but i expect one day i'll probably get one.
maybe i'll wait and see if they remove the kinect requirement as well.
the future?
bullshit.
you don't care about the future.
you care about the free games you were going to get through the game sharing.
oh, the delicious hypocrisy.
ceretain people decrying preowned because it "drives up prices and takes sales from the publishers".
while complaining they can't get their free games anymore.
real gamers wanted to buy their games, and own them.
and now we got that.
they don't need to, they have programs that can automatically listen to phone calls for key phrases, thousands of calls.
and kinect does the speech recognition for them, it could, in theory, upload text transcripts of everything said in front of it.
i'm not saying it automatically does that, but it could.
free, my very favouritest price.
it'll be a laugh if this is better than anything Sega have done with Sonic in years.
it'll sell more than it was going to, but i still think the PS4 will do much higher numbers.
i've also speculated the removal of the sharing feature was maybe demanded by publishers.
Sony had game sharing on PS3 and you had to share your own account to do it, and they were forced to lower it to two machines.
so ten separate accounts?
the publishers wouldn't have been happy at that.
it's entirely possible they had to remove that and they decided to get rid of the drm and preowned thing that was causing them so much...
cliffy, could you do us all a favour, and please piss off.
there's a good chap.
who says it can't do the cloud thing any more?
they kept going on about how you could still play your games with a few k through a mobile connection, that's not the cloud.
so online multiplayer is no longer a feature of x1 because it doesn't force player to use an internet connection?
online features will still need to be online, cloud feature will need to be online, online multiplayer will still need to be online, patching will s...
what a hypocrite.
according to you, prices are high because people are buying preowned where the money only goes to the stores, not the publishers?
and then you say the x1 is worse because you can't get your free games through the sharing program.
where you wouldn't be putting a penny into the industry.
and the line about game sharing enticing people to buy the games themselves, that's about as accurate as saying every preowned sal...
could be legit.
i mean, these are based on previous searches right?
so that's one for each person that actually uses bing.
^_^
that's you only defence for not allowing self publishing?
weak man, weak.
look at fez, published by ms, the devs refused to patch their clearly broken game.
and look at what happened with THQ.
but then you'll say anything to defend ms, i've seen the comments you've been making recently.
seriously, if the x1 needed a pound of flesh to play you'd defend that.
"it's a good way of losi...
it could be a billion times more powerful and it wouldn't matter if your net goes down, or if their net goes down, or if this arrogant attitude makes them a target for hacker, which it will.
because then it's just a ridiculously expensive bluray player, when you can buy sony, toshiba or LG bluray players for less than 60 quid.
can't they get their stories straight anyway?
one guy says it's three, one says it's 8 then another says i...
i'd rather play it whenever i want, rather than when ms gives me permission.
if that means waiting a year, i'll gladly wait.
it's a great game, i think it could do well on PC, it certainly deserves to be a success.
i'm looking forward to the pure Sandbox mode.
i don't know how it would be different from the game as it is though, it's pretty sandboxy right now.
ms published it, so the chances of a PlayStation version are, slim at best.
i'd love to see it on PlayStation though.
you really think they'll keep supporting this console in perpetuity?
you know this is ms we're talking about right?
they stop supporting everything they make eventually.
the time frame varies, but it will happen.
even with the x1 they've shown the consumer is the very last thing they fucking care about.
you're the one making this into a fucking fanboy issue.
this is a rights issue, if ...
been a long time since i've been jealous of the us plus.
but i am now.
but really, plus is probably the only area where scee are doing a good job for europe so i can't complain.
gaming's anus speaks again.
ok cliffy, preowned will lead to studio closures and/or microtransactions?
right?
then why the hell did ea close some of their mobile studios?
you know, mobile, where there's no preowned and it's all about microtransactions.
couldn't be that you're full of shit could it?
who's fault is that?
clearly not the publishers right?
it's never the...
