i like it when there are various difficulty levels, so the hardcore players can get the challenge they want but i can also finish a game every once in a while.
shame they'll be using that bullshit online pass system with this title, i would definitely have bought it otherwise.

even if it could render toy story 3 in high definition in real time i'd still prefer a games machine that actually has a proper controller.
if you want a bowling game that simulates the motions pretty well, try high velocity bowling, using nothing but the ps3 pad you bowl just like you would in real life.
you hold the pad in the middle with your pinky on one shoulder button and your index finger on the other and bowl.
i've played a few cowling games and that one gives one of the best simulations of bowling.
and you don't need to spend a hundred and thirty quid on a camera to play it, you will need ...
personally i think boosting should be cause for suspension, not a full ban but a timed suspension.
it is cheating after all, any other kind of cheating and you'd get a ban or suspension, why should boosting be any different.

well kinect uses an infrared light source and measures the time it takes for the light to return so i would imagine kinect would work in the dark, for the motion tracking games at least, it wouldn't be much use for video chat in the dark.
and yeah, with that light on the end there really shouldn't have been much doubt about move working in the dark, also it looks like it could make a handy light source in a power cut. :)

i have to say though, some people were using the fact the ps3 puts out more heat as evidence that it runs hotter, no doubt those same people will use the same thing with the 360 to say the new 360s runs cooler.

with the xbox it doesn't store all the updates, old ones will get deleted so you could end up having to update the same game with the same update more than once.
but the updates are usually quicker than the ps3, unless it's a major addition they usually take a few seconds.
one thing i have noticed with the ps3 though is that many of the updates for downloadable titles are almost as big as the titles themselves, i know until recently the ps3 had to download a whole new ...
considering how often these days publishers or developers announce dlc for their games months before the game has even launched, there is no doubt that content is now deliberately being left out for the sole purpose of selling it later.
that's the worst thing about dlc, buyers getting shortchanged.
