Hmm, i just saw the game informer review, 6.25 i think it was. I usually trust gi over ign reviews for wii. I know gi can seem biased against the wii but the wii ign team is way too generous with it's reviews. (yes, I realize this is the eurogamer review) I wonder what gametrailers will give it. I usually enjoy their reviews.
Not sure if i'll be buying this game now though. I'll have to watch some footage on justin.tv before i make my decision.
ha, i was gonna say that they should have pumpkinhead dlc.
all good reasons.
I picked up VC last week. I've only played about an hours worth but i can already tell that it'll be a fantastic game and that all the user reviews/metacritc reviews are spot on.
I use my ps3 for everything. Especially the media servers. It comes in really handy when i have parties and whatnot. I also love the fact that i can rip movies to the hard drive.
yea,
i had forgotten about fire emblem and battalion wars. Which donkey kong game are you talking about? The racing one? I shudder to think.

anyone who supported working designs deserves a pat on the back.
Victor Ireland was running a show that was years ahead of it's time. Look at rpgs. They're incredibly mainstream. Not to mention anime. Victor knew there was an audience for these titles and he treated his fanbase with a kind of respect that is rarely shown. Sadly having such a small company and having to go through so many hoops to get games localized is what put working designs under, but i c...
I think that's a pretty fair assessment.
No one can deny that the wii has made a tremendous impact in gaming and that it's been a huge success. However, due to the consumers that predominantly make up the majority of the wii fanbase the wii gets stuck with nonsense games that cater to these people. I realize i'm not saying anything new and most people realize this, but there are those select few that claim blasphemy when anything bad is spoken of about the wii.
^^
that's what i was thinking also for boss battles. Not sure though, i've been trying to stay away from this game cause if i do get it i don't wan't to see any possible spoilers.
I'm glad i'm not the only one who enjoyed homecoming. I think that game got a bad rap from the silent hill purists. I myself would rather see the original japan team make the games but homecoming was still a solid title. Just because a dodge mechanic was built into the game doesn't mean the...
I don't understand all this love with call of duty. Modern Warfare 2 was the first COD game i bought and all it did was remind me as to why i never enjoyed the series in the first place.
Oh boy, i really hope this comes to the psn cause all i have is a psp go. I love lunar, i was thinking about buying silver star story complete the other day but it was like $200. This is a much better option.
On a side note, who else misses the hell out of working designs? That company ruled.
I might buy this game, the only things i don't like about the game though is the ice mechanic. Why ice? Couldn't they have used fog or something? Anything but ice. Also, the enemies look extremely uninspired. Silent Hill is known for wickedly deformed enemies but these baddies look so run of the mill.
The fact that there's no combat doesn't really bother me, but won't that mean no boss battles?
the game is getting overhyped.
I own it, it's definitely a fun/solid game but it doesn't "destroy all other action games."
That's just silly.
Go buy/rent the game, enjoy it and move on to something else. Also, the "inferior" ps3 version isn't an unplayable mess like people are making it out to be.
on a side note,
I'm actually looking forward more to dante's inferno than i am gow3. The whole hell theme seems r...
i might buy this, singapore gets varied region titles in most stores, that's how i was able to get agarest: generations of war, eye pet & bayonetta. Hopefully this game will have english subs. If not i still might pick it up just so i can see how the graphics look. Plus translation guides will be online real quick after the release.
i own it for the ps3. It's a pretty cool game but i don't think it's as great as these sites are making it out to be. The witch time mechanic is pretty cool though and it definitely has to be utilized in order to take down some enemies.
I think the best part about the game is it's style. It has a film noir feel to it and the soundtrack is jazz influenced. It's hard to describe but if you buy it you'll get what i mean. Also, Bayonetta is a really cool character and the game is act...
cool, the ds is by far the best gaming machine, handheld or console, for rpg's.
it's really bad on xbox live, i've honestly never encountered it on the psn. That's mainly due to hardly anyone owning a headset. Which to me, is a good thing. I'd take silence anyday over screaming 12 year olds.
(I'm not saying all 360 users are 12 year olds)
well that sucks. I just bought this for my psp go and it cost me $40. I wonder if the psn will get a discount. Probably not. I do enjoy the game though.
yea spoony pretty much summed it up.
the game IS short as can be and has zero replay value.
I bought it and beat it in 2 sessions which lasted a grand total of probably 6 hours.
It doesn't compare at all to the original and for the life of me i cannot figure out why it gets great reviews and why people say it changes the way on rail shooter are played.
it's not a horrible game but it's definitely not a 'great' game by any means. It's worth a...
HA,
how crazy.
I just bought a sega saturn today from some guy and this was one of the games that came with it. Giant Box and all, :P. I used to own it on the psx and i loved it, but after playing it today with a friend i realized that it hadn't aged well at all. It was still a nice bit of nostalgia but i'll probably never play it again.
Well im off to play some radiant silvergun!! :)
I bought eden but i never played much of it.
