I hate to sound like a downer but don't expect anything extraordinary. The game itself does sound pretty interesting though.
Red and blue 3D nine times outta ten hardly looks 3d, all it does really is make everything a dark red. I'm speaking from personal disappointments with 'My Bloody Valentine 3D' on bluray and the 3D mode in Skate2.
absolutely, the wii is a powerful little system.
That's why im so curious as to how Zelda will look. The gamecube sported some of the best looking games last gen, i.e; star fox adventures, wind waker, metroid prime. So with twice the power it's gonna look fantastic. We saw it with galaxy and kinda with MP3 (i read somewhere that the game didn't utilize the wii as much as it could have). All that's left now is Zelda.

the thing im most excited for is how the game will look. I'm not a graphics whore by any means but the wii boasts some incredibly ugly games. It wouldn't be so bad but most of the games look worse than gamecube titles. Mario galaxy assures me though that zelda wii will look awesome. Galaxy is a beautiful game and I know nintendo will pull out all the stops to make Zelda look just as good, if not better.

Bayonetta is NOTHING like god of war and Darksiders is NOTHING like bayonetta.
Both games are awesome and GOW3 and DI will be awesome too. The only people who will miss out are the ones who are too busy trying to justify why their favorite game is better than the other...

This pretty much guarantees that E3 this year for nintendo will feature the new zelda in some form of media. Still pretty much a year off till the release (i'm guessing the holiday season) but I have no problem waiting. I absolutely loved TP and i'm sure i'll love this one as well.
Buy double dash and 2 gamecube controllers or mario kart 64 off the vc. Both are far better games, but if your daughter wants the steering wheel then i guess mk: wii is the way to go. Either way, i'm sure she'll have fun with her dad.

darkside chronicles is a quality game. I find it funny how i bought it and i enjoy it yet i'm the one who gets accused of being a troll here.
Sony and Microsoft pay for advertising. Look at rock band and call of duty. Microsoft pays to have their logo exclusively at the end of certain commercials. Also, look at e3 2009. Microsoft was showcasing Rock band beatles like it was exclusive to the system.
I've said it before, but I still find it absolutely insane how square enix is so unreliable when it comes to quality titles. Back in the days of the SNES and PSX if someone predicted that square would turn into a joke they would have been laughed out of the room, but now that's exactly what square is. The only series I rely on for solid jrpg gameplay and that I know will deliver is Dragon Quest. Everything else I take with a grain of salt.

What's wrong with speaking my mind about my complaints with the wii. SEGA and Capcom have no problem doing it.
I'm not talking about hardware quality. I was referring to how microsoft released the 360 a year early and got a hold of the market before sony had a chance. Most developers were and are more comfortable with developing games on the 360 than they are on the ps3.
Developers don't have anything to do with how stable the hardware is inside a console.

The reason most of the developers dropped support for nintendo was because the cartridge based format was more costly than cd-roms and the cartridge was limited as can be. Factor 5 came up with technology to overcome certain problems but the cartridge was still extremely limited when it came to data storage. i think if natal and the ps3 motion controller sell well some 3rd parties will abandon the wii and focus on ps3/360.
It's been 3 years and rarely does a 3rd party game sell well on the wii.
It's a bad investment for some companies.

Capcom won't drop support for the wii. They know there's money to be made on the platform.
