Many of those games don't deserve those scores. Halo 3 doesn't, Gears of War 2ddoesn't, MW2 doesn't, Resistance 2 doesn't. I won't comment on Killzone or Uncharted as I've played neither.

Wouldn't the 'gun game' make more sense if you started with good guns and they got worse as you went along. Therefore the better you are the more difficult it becomes. This way is just stupid, meaning if you do well it's only going to make it easier for you.

720 by 1024 is not 720p though...
720p is 720 by 1280, so the advertised resolution is a little lower, not as low as say 560p and 600p that you get with most multiplats though.
Remember that they sometimes lower resolutions for demos to make file size smaller and hide some blemishes that are not yet ironed out. Maybe not though, not really sure if I'm interested in this game tbh, I'll try out the demo and see.
